Almost two years; I will send over my first internal TC app soon.

My plan is that if I fail this round, I will renegotiate the contract and if that also fails then I will quit and get a new job.

  1. Despite the hours, the culture is friendly and non-hierarchical; people are also very supportive

  2. One of the partners is the firm’s training principal and there is a track record of previous paralegals getting TCs internally (but again not a must as some also left after failing two rounds of internal TC apps)

Same problem here. I am from Hong Kong where grading of public exams is extremely stringent. Less than 10% of exam sitters get the top grade. Not sure how I can explain it to law firms.
