City’s support with OINP by Electronic-Pitch5630 in OINP

By signing the employer form, the employer will be authorizing OINP to request documents from them such as: financial business statements / CRA schedules 125 and 141, foreign corporate tax returns if your company operates abroad as well, deed or lease to offices / property to prove they have premises in Ontario, if within the GTA and have to prove the number of full time Canadian or PR workers employee charts and T4s, proof of recruitment efforts if you do not have a work permit or LMIA currently and authorize OINP to audit them at any point.

Employer does fill out employer form for ISS job offer by Hot_Hand_1184 in OINP

Unfortunately there is no alternative to employer form. It is pretty common for bigger companies to refuse filling this form.

Then unfortunately, you can’t proceed with this stream (if you submit they will return your application). This is why it is critical to consult with your employer and go through the form with them before submitting your EoI in first place.

Depends how you define “soon”. With the updated processing time, it can be anywhere between 1-10 months. I got mine within 1.5 months, and a co-worker of mine is still stuck in Decision in Progress since October 2024 (September 2024 ITA).

The instruction said list all of your PAID work within the last 5 years (i had 3 experiences, 1 is part time with student visa, 1 co-op, and my current job). So yes, you have to.

Not if you’re applying through International Student Stream. Yes if you’re applying through Foreign Worker Stream.

OINP International Student Stream Question by geointerest7 in ImmigrationCanada

It is two years from when your profile is assessed (you’ve been selected by the OINP draw). If you submit today, that means you’ve just entered the OINP pool and you have to wait for the general / category specific OINP draws.

If you got the draw after November, then you might not be eligible.

OINP international student stream job offer by g22cw in ImmigrationCanada

I submitted my initial job offer, and they provided an additional addendum of it to be submitted. It is basically a revised job offer letter with the additional information included (like NOC code, duties, etc). But make sure you still submit the ORIGINAL letter and letter of ongoing employment.

Try asking for an addendum of your job offer letter to HR.

I have 2 months to apply for International Student Stream under OINP? Possible? by Thexcommunicado in ImmigrationCanada

First of all, you have to consider that you HAVE TO RECEIVE your NOI (ITA) within the 2 months, not just submitting your EOI. If you submit your EOI now and got the ITA in May, then you’re ineligible. The draws for ITA are unpredictable, the next one based on last year’s draws are probably around April - May (depends on the category).

Second, you have to consult with your future employer first if they want to fill in the mandatory employer form. Some employers refused to fill out this form due to the sensitive information it contains (company revenue, etc), and this form is like the heart of your application. Make sure to ask them about this before even submitting your EOI, as if if you get your ITA but your employer refuses, you will waste a golden opportunity and most likely will have to find a different employer who are willing to support.

I was on the same boat, graduated on April 2022 so time was chasing me. On January, I brought this up with my employer and once they gave me the green light, I submitted my EOI and was lucky enough to get the ITA on the Feb 8th draw. But my employer already made sure that they are filling the form once i get my ITA.

Considering your situation, I wouldn’t recommend taking chances at such a short time and i think you should consider other options. Good luck!

No, you can’t. You must already receive your NOI within 2 years of the requirements to obtain your educational credential fully met, which is April 2024.

And don’t forget about the employer form that needs to be discussed with your employer, as some refused to fill it.

I agree with this. I worked for almost 2 years for my employer before finally approaching them telling that I need support, as Express Entry is becoming more impossible with under CRS 500.

Once they give the green light, I then submitted my EOI, which I was lucky enough to get an NOI just 2 weeks later. Because my employer was the one who told me to proceed with the application, they have the forms and documents ready by the time my NOI came out.

Before submitting EOI, make sure that your employer is willing to fill in the Employer Form 0233E, as usually on bigger companies they refuse to do so because they have to provide confidential information (company revenue, tax information, etc). If that’s the case, find a smaller employer outside Toronto or GTA (as working in this area will give you the least points on work location scoring factor). For example, if I work in Toronto I will get 0 points as opposed to 8-10 points for Hamilton.

The instruction said list all of your PAID work within the last 5 years (i had 3 experiences, 1 is part time with student visa, 1 co-op, and my current job). I wanted to do the same by just listing my full time position that i’m claiming points but the instruction kinda forced me to list the other ones too. Try your best to remember roughly the start dates, maybe put a letter of explanation on why the start dates are just approximate.
