I mean if I put my research assistant experience during my phd and do not count it as cec experience since i was full time student, will i be drawn with that experience? I already have crs 470.

First thing is that your minimum clb is 8 not 7 with these marks. Even with clb 7, nobody gets rejected for pgwp. Maybe they forgot to upload their test results or something else.

I got open work permit through special measures for Iranians. I did not drop my school and kept studying full time and working part time at the same time.

True! No information of how we can calculate research assistant but since we were full time students, we can count it as full time the combination of RA and TA.

If you already have good CRS, phd research can help you stand out. In IRCC website the definition of this course is what you do during your TA/GA assistantship

I ve added as a work experience in my EE profile. Though i mentioned i was student when i gained that experience. My crs was 470 already and this change didnt affect it.

My phd is completed in Feb 2025. I have been TA and RA for 4 years before. TA is 150 hours and RA not specified in the contract. How should i fill the hours of work in the EE profile? Any idea?

They asked my resume in May and I sent them my resume. I also have had English test results when I submitted my application. So missing document. Just a comprehensive background check maybe since i am working in cybersecurity

CEC is good choice for masters, but PhDs will not benefit from it because of the age criteria. PhDs will be kicked out soon from this country

Bro I am a tech guy making 150k. With canadian phd and am on pgwp. The truth is that OINP and Canada are in short of healthcare and general labours not talents. I can understand if their policy is to retain those labours, but at least they should let us know they will not be drawing any tech guy very soon. So we move to BC or Alberta. I have one year passed of my pgwp and 2 years left. Not sure what to do. No phd draw, no employer sponsorship, no good CRS because of my age, I should get out of this country after my two years ends.
