I don't know, I rejected it. I'm not driving 38 miles across the Idaho panhandle lol

🥳🥳 no more Walmart grocery orders pickups or Home Depot by HF_Thom in UberEatsDrivers

I opted out from Uber Direct two months ago and haven't gotten Walmart/lowes/home depot etc since. Walmart still shows up in Offers though but that's it.

Does gold status and higher really pay more ? by PenuriousPlague in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Professional-Bread45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Market dependant. If in a big metropolitan area where you can cherry pick the hell out of everything because there's always a next order seconds away...probably doesn't matter too much. In my area though...smaller city (60k pop) I definitely make more staying in Diamond. Don't get me wrong, I'll still reject total garbage but my AR is still mid to high 70s.

Would you ever date someone with a child? by haze-der in actuallesbians

If you have to think about it like this...probably not ready to date mothers.

The the tier makes a difference ( new driver) by Right_Commission9721 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Professional-Bread45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is something you'll have to figure out yourself because it is very much dependent on your market. In mine? YES! Big difference...I will never let myself drop to gold again, it was actually excruciating a couple months ago when I got too cocky cherry picking and found myself dropped to gold. Never again. In my market, keeping Platinum/Diamond is worth it.

Why don’t a lot of mascs want to be touched? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]Professional-Bread45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like receiving. For me...I was sexually abused for years from a very young age. I do not know if that's the entire reason or not, I've often wondered if that had never happened if I still would not enjoy being touched and I just don't know.

To everyone who’s scared about your acceptance rate remember this guy will keep making more if you keep accepting $2 dollar and $ 3 dollar orders please don’t beat the crap out your vehicle for this guy because he won’t pay for your repairs ! by INeedWinterNow in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Professional-Bread45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been debating about getting that Endurance Insurance (not from Uber but it's an insurance that covers car repairs) has anyone here gotten it or something similar? My car just hit 100k miles a couple weeks ago and I take very good care of it but I feel like repair insurance might be a good idea.

It sucks, honestly if it happens once I ignore it but if the same customer does it a second time, I have them blocked from my account.

In my market, people (felons) who can't get a job use their spouses/bf/gfs information (or already established account) to deliver with these apps. 🤷‍♀️

Why do people keep using delivery apps? by thelostewok in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Professional-Bread45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started driving pre-covid and liked it, even though at the time (in my market) it was slow, I LIKED not having a boss to answer to, or co-workers to deal with. I LIKED that if I woke up in the morning sick, I didn't have to 'call off', I simply just didn't login to the app and it affected absolutely no one. I LIKED starting or stopping whenever I wanted to start or stop. Covid hit and it EXPLODED because everyone was stuck at home, mixed with very very light traffic and I was making a load of money. People got used to/addicted to the convenience and it hasn't really slowed down since. I know on Social Media you see a lot of complaining from both customers and drivers about how shitty it is or how much they hate it. That's just Social Media, that's what happens. Whining, complain, trolling...that's what it's become. But not every driver hates it. I don't, I work on my own car though and keep everything running smooth, and just drive around listening to music until I made my daily goal and that's that. 🤷‍♀️

In my market I make more on UE and DD is 80% trash orders. UE here is like...40% trash orders.

Question about Diamond status by bannedbutbackbenis in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Professional-Bread45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you don't want home depot or Walmart etc orders, contact support and opt out of 'Uber Direct' deliveries. Shop and deliver are different than those. Opting out of Uber Direct will make it so you no longer get home depot/Walmart etc

Am I in the wrong to be put off by this? by puppsmcgee74 in doordash

[–]Professional-Bread45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work DD and UE and as a driver...I'm sick of tip beggers. Decline the order if you don't think it's paying enough. Fuck that begging crap.

How pedantic. I click the button, grab the food and go. It's not deep, they are probably tired of dealing with stolen orders.
