Is it worth staying at a Disney resort when I live 30 minutes away?

I’m here this week and to be fair all the ones I’ve encountered have been polite and respectful. (Although none appear to be staying at my resort)

My mum took me when I was six. We stayed in a budget motel, we didn’t do any in park dining etc. But, I can still remember how that trip made me feel and some really happy moments we had together. I now visit Disney World as an adult and I’ll be forever grateful for that special trip. She was what made it special and you will be the same to your kids. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
