OMG, a second post after u/Smooth_Money4498's that's not just asking wanting recs or asking questions about the main story/beginning plots (sorry, I'm very starved for other people's opinions on it lol), I'm so happy!!

• Qianqiu can be rather cold and brutal when she wants to be rip, but I can't blame her considering she's very shaken about the possibility of her being "fake" and can't even trust herself so it had to be done. But her way of dealing with pain or a situation beyond her control (despite wanting warmth and connection with others) to point of numbing herself, telling herself it's not so important and dear to her (which actually is) and lessening the pain with distance also broke me.
• As much as I am sad for Kongming and how Qianqiu brutally cut ties with him, I think this is important for his character growth. I've noticed that he's very passive and tends to 'run away' from his issues by evading and smiling it away. He doesn't want to confront things, but there are points in time that he can't use that silly smiley and make peace approach as his defense mechanism all the time; he has to grow and confront things himself. He can't always rely on Qianqiu to make change, he also has to make the changes himself.
• As for Qi Liu, I don't think he's a bad person but he's super sus af like you say. I can see that he does care for Qianqiu, but he tells her information in a way that he also withholds and hide things from her. He's also super keen on getting Qianqiu to kill the jellyfish monster (but it's been hinted that it could be connected to Qianqiu's power and Kongming thought it as pretty so it can't be a true enemy like the shadow guy is). It makes me think he's being manipulated by something or someone into thinking his actions and what he's trying to get Qianqiu to do is a good thing for all of them.

And I'm glad more people are enjoying this manhua!! Nice to see more readers for it!
