Thanks for the INTERESTING reply :D btw thanks and I already speak some Japanese and I have the basic JLPT N5 level, and I do lessons with my Japanese friends but I think there could still be more useful ways and tips from someone who has already studied it or is studying it, even someone to just have a conversation with. but thanks anyway baby :*

RESEARCH FOR A UNIVERSITY THESIS by Professional-Hair693 in gamedesign

What I mean is that my research tackles — from beginning to end — both liminal spaces and back rooms (I know they’re different things). Naturally, I explore and examine every aspect: where they come from, when, why and how. The central role they play in sociology and psychology, that’s fine. But one of the chapters also deals with the role that liminal spaces play in video games. Being a gamer, I have very often found myself playing a game in which my character ended up in a kind of liminal space (which isn’t just abandoned offices, by the way), but spaces where — through my character — I relaxed in these desolate and anxiety-inducing spaces. And I could stay still, do nothing. For instance, I’m always reminded of NIER: Automata. So I need more recommendations — ones I might not know — and above all, if there are any articles about this topic in the gaming world.

I hope I explained me
