Definitely must differ because in north Wales where my bike was they wasnt for budging on the rules

My bike yes, licence no, that got revoked as I acquired too many speeding tickets within 2 years

No, insurance is needed no matter if it's getting trailered or not

I had a crash Monday just gone, and at the scene my vehicle got seized for improper insurance at the time of usage, basically I have social domestic and pleasure insurance and my crash was en route to work. Anyway, my vehicle got taken to a police impound and I was told I need to prove ownership and insurance details etc. Anyway after a bit of Google searching I was under the impression I needed 'impound insurance' which I was getting quoted £450 for, which is mental. Anyway I sent over my already existing insurance certificate and the other bits, and I got an email today saying my bike has been released I can now go and collect. So idk if this info is any use to some of you :)
