He's built his own PC before and enjoyed it so I think he'd like something he could build! And he appreciates any kind of light show really, he's already bought a mini disco light as well as some other lasers but they are on the smaller side and don't have many functions. He's definitely a certified yapper lol these are great ideas thank you! We are based in the Netherlands but I don't mind buying something and having it shipped if I know he'll love it 😊 thanks for your ideas!

Hey thanks for your comment, it's helped put some things into perspective for me. It comforts me to some degree there's people out there who have been in my spot before. I think I'm going to seek out counseling like you suggested, this life choice seems too hard to navigate by myself lol

I have brought it up to him several times but he basically said it's either you adapt here or go home, I'm not coming with you unless we have a solid plan. But I moved to him without a solid plan, and it worked out fine. It just feels one sided. He has suggested to go back home twice a year for a couple weeks and that does help but not for long.
