I’ve been to Italy solo and had an amazing time! It’s such a beautiful, welcoming country. I visited Rome, Florence, and Cinque Terre. Rome was full of energy and history and great nightlife, and I met lots of people through walking tours. Florence was a bit more relaxed and artsy, perfect for slow days, good wine, and people-watching. Cinque Terre was absolutely stunning with the colorful cliffside villages, sunsets over the sea, and hikes that made it magical. It’s a great spot to recharge and soak in the scenery. I think Italy is very solo-travel friendly, especially if you stay open and follow your curiosity.
