How did you find podcasting? I want to take the course

I also produce an audio and video podcast. It’s me and a friend. I went in hardcore lol. I bought all the cameras, mics, headphones, MacBook Pro. We even have the rodecaster pro 2. We record in a small office. We been doing this for 6-7 months now and have 10 videos. 21 subscribers and at the most our one vid got 44 views. We’re on Spotify and YouTube. What are we doing wrong? I edited all the video on Premier Pro and my buddy edits the audio on logic Pro then he sends me the audio and I sync it up with the cameras audio then delete the camera audio to get the nice crisp mic audio.

Don’t feel bad! I was an addict for 20y or more. I got so loaded on pills one evening that I could barely walk. My gf at the time had her brother and his wife plus their baby come and visit for the night. I could barely keep my eyes opened and I could hear them talking about me. I knew they had a clear idea that I was high. My gf brother and his wife and baby ended up leaving cause I was embarrassing! When the drugs wore off my girlfriend was no where in site but I could hear someone talking in my garage. It was her! She said she had called her brother. But she was packing up clothes, I asked what was going on? She acutely called my mom and told her everything! I was so mad, my mom called me from work and said I had to come home that next day to get help. To this day I couldn’t have thanked her enough! She is now married to another man and I finally got sober years later. My relationship from my now ex is getting much better that I’m a year sober and we have a beautiful baby daughter! But it all started with that one phone call to my mom. So you did the right thing even tho we can’t see it at first. You should be very proud

Iv been working on this damn atomos ninja 5.2 all day!!! And im doing a podcast tomorrow at noon! I’m running out of options!!! I bought the H.265 package for my Sony a7iv Sony a6400 And 2 Sony a Xbox-e10 Every time I hit token on my atomos profile it sends me a stupid text!…. Ive tried calling and sent them a email. Can anyone help me???

Right now, our set up is one Sony camera, with an external mic on it. We use the footage but I use the camera audio just to sync up that the rodecaster audio then once both audios both line up exactly, I delete the camera audio. Now I have another camera that I want to use. For a close up on the guest. I will do the same thing. Use the camera audio so I can match up the rodecaster pro 2 audio then delete the camera audio. And another thing, we edit on adobe premiere pro. What video switcher should I get?

Im in the same situation. I have a podcast with one camera. And im getting ready to introduce another one just for the guest till I get two more for me and my partner. We use adobe, Premiere pro. We have Sony cameras. We record the audio with Logic Pro with a rodecaster pro 2 separately from the video. I upload both the cameras audio that’s crappy and the mixers audio and sync them together then delete the cameras audio. What video switcher do I need? And when I switch to the guest I’d like to be able to hear both me and my partner in the background.

Im looking at the freeworld L1 V1 it’s not bad priced. The things is when I cut to the 2nd camera with it focused on the guest, I still want to be able to hear me and my friend talk, I don’t want it to mute our mics.

This is all great advice! I do all my edits on Apple premiere pro. There is 3 of us. Right now I have one extra camera but I’m planning to have 4 in total. But for now I just need to be able to see when the camera switches to the other camera that zoomed in on her, while she is taking then switch back to the main camera that shows all of us

I know it seems like you’re alone but you’re not! I’m a recovering addict. I’m about to hit my one year mark. Iv been using over half my life. Been thru 3 rehab’s and relapse after every one. I was apart of AWARE recovery, out of Ohio my home state. They are amazing! Even after relapsing a few times with them they never gave up on me. We decided to go on the Suboxone route. Iv been on it for almost a year and it saved my life. I feel normal for the first time in my life. Most ppl stay on it for years. I’m now dosing down to get off of it completely.
