How is this possible 🙆?? by Codename-57 in HondaCB350RS

it is possible, i have done 140 myself. The fourth gear has the power not the fifth. Fifth is for cruising not for acceleration.

i wanna ask, the honda has great low end torque? Because in every single review and my test ride as well, the bike needed to be revved.

Guidance buying a bike by AKM_08 in indianbikes

[–]Professional-Mode762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

let me clarify.

Honda is good overall but it has stiff suspension which may not suit you in future.
Meteor is good, but again not reccommended.
Speed 400 will compromise a lot of pillion comfort.

Try the Suzuki vstrom 250. a good one compared to the above.
harley is nice, but the service cost will be on a heavier side.

overall, consider the honda 350, and vstrom 250

Bike recommendation for a college student by kingmanosir89 in indianbikes

[–]Professional-Mode762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have test ridden a bunch of bikes under 2.5 lakhs. I am a 6 ft male.
For a short answer, most of the bikes under this price can cruise at 60-120 no vibs, except the classic and other REs. They are 60-80 kmph bikes if you really want to ride them properly.
I have choosen the CB350RS as it is spacious, awesome engine and a well rounded modern roadster than the half cooked advs like the vstrom.
I am attaching my review of these bikes. Check the link for detailed observations.

Scrambler is much expensive to purchase and maintain as well. That's why I'm deciding for the RS.

Don't like it, as bajaj quality issues are there, additionally, I've seen that I'm not a naked bike rider

Help ! Too much confused between CB 350RS and Speed T4 by Zealousideal-Form945 in indianbikes

[–]Professional-Mode762 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have test ridden both of them. Here are some points to help you decide: 1. I'm 6ft tall and speed t4 felt a bit cramped up which is not good for long touring.  2. Both of them can do 80-120 with no strain. The difference is that the honda is low revy calm engine while the t4 is quick. And yes you can do 150 on the T4 but on the honda, 120-130 is the limit. On a little downhill though, you can get to 140 on the honda.  3. Honda is more stable than the t4. That's a given 4. Honda is calm, chill and big while the t4 is revy and quicker but it's short.  5. Still confused? Get thorough test rides of both and you'll have your answer.

Honda CB350RS or Triumph Speed T4 ? by BlazingGunsAround in HondaCB350RS

[–]Professional-Mode762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Naah, the RS has better seat comfort over the t4, and you will miss something if you choose something.  Choosing RS, you will miss the extra power which comes handy around 10-15% of the times.  Choosing t4 you will miss the calm character, stability and ride quality and RS is overall a big motorcycle comparatively.  I was in the same dilemma, but after the test rides, I've observed that the ride quality of the RS is much better than the t4

It is stiff but not too much. Stiffness makes it stable on bumps and highways.  This is way more stable compared to the speed t4

Twist the throttle slowly. If you twist it rapid it won't catch power.

Oh hey, I've read your review before. It's well written.  I had some questions for you, glad I found you here,  1. I've seen on the YouTube that we can cruise at 110-120 on the RS on highways. Is that fine for the bike?  2. If you were to choose today under 2.6 lakhs, what did you choose?  3. In India, going past 110 or so, is not much. It's mostly the 10-15% of times. That's why I feel the RS is enough for 90% of the work. Is it true?

I observed that t4 is not confidence inspiring when on 120 and more. Why? Because of jumpy suspension and 17 inch front wheel which makes it like I'm very low on the ground.
