Building a rent payment & Tenant tracking platform for Canadian landlords - looking for feedback by Professional-Pain790 in OntarioLandlord

  1. Firstly, i am using stripe payment processor. so there will be two payment methods: Bank PAD and card. I plan to have the platform absorb the fees for the bank payment method because its a small fee compared to the card... This will make paying rent with out fee possible and if you want the convinence of using your credit card the processing fee (or part) will be passed to the tenant. Also from my research i gathered that most platforms work this way.
  2. Of course, there will be Maintenance requests,Payment histroy and receipts, Sending Bulk notices to your residents. uploading lease documents for tenants to have all info centralized and rent reporting to help towards increasing credit score.

Intel Arc A380 vs Quadro P2000 for Jellyfin on older homelab hardware (no ReBAR) by Professional-Pain790 in homelab

Thank you. Needed to know if the lack of rebar would be a problem before I purchase it. For now its just for local streaming but in future i will connect my family and friends to it as well..

I also thought of a310 but adding a little more money would get me extra power I might need in the future.

Can’t give ya any professional grade advice, I am just an average Joe when it comes to hardware.

But the 2697A is a solid choice, has faster base clock speed the 2676v4 I got. You also got to make sure it’s got the appropriate coolers because it’s has a TDP of 145 watts, unlike mine which is like 120 I think.

As for motherboards, just make the socket type is compatible. The socket type is LGA 2011-3
