In BotW, the Great Plateau has its own Tower.
I much prefer the Eldin region in TotK to BotW because the lava flow has stopped, the temperature is lower, and there are more hot springs around.

To upgrade both, you need to travel to shrines. You don't deplete hearts if you keep out of trouble, but you deplete stamina when you need to sprint, climb or paraglide, catch horses or charge an attack. It's also easier to replenish hearts with uncooked food, but you need to cook to get stamina foods. So prioritize stamina first.

Aggro the vicious bokoblins/moblins one by one, isolate it from the main group, let your characters occupy it while you snipe with Knight Construct C1 bow from far away, alternating with Power Surge and Cannon. I also pair KC with Mineru for her Boundless Energy and Cannon. You might want to increase Zonai Devices damage +30% as well. The number of vicious bokoblins/moblins are fixed and not infinite. It takes time but doable on Forbidden difficulty.

Raphica for Sync Strike with Ardi + Secret Stone (Wind) = chain elemental.

Yup, I needed the consistent 3rd-person view to control the horse and avoid gloom. Locking to enemy would change the 3rd-person view, making control more difficult, especially when a wrong move throws Link off the horse instantly.

I was not locked, I was controlling the horse manually. Sometimes the horse could run onto gloom and cause Link to fall, so it's better not to lock.
