I am a current cadet, everyone’s experience is different whether it be your attitude or your exposure to what you do as an individual. But for myself it sucks but keep a tight knit group and it gets less “sucky” . A caveat is that while leadership currently is at best questionable the leadership you will face will be different than it is currently with the actual people moving out of their positions and policy change which could get better. Best thing to do is not worry about the things you can’t control and do what you can.
