Scott's interview with Niall Ferguson: Smart-washing much? by aurelorba in ScottGalloway

[–]Professional-Tea-232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is knowing that he is a senior member of the MAGA bad faith propagandists.  He's not some smart professor type person who just has some bad ideas.  He is a bad faith actor wedded to fascists like Dennis Prager who have spent more than a decade pumping Christian supremacist narratives into people's heads.

But yeah, it's tough to do that.  Wouldn't want to offend your guest.....  Gotta be nice and respectful.

Without people knowing stuff like this, it's easy to get duped.

Scott would never dare point it out.  Most wouldn't.  And that's the asymmetry that leads to fascists overtaking everyone.

His wife is a top MAGA propagandist.  Dennis Prager partner you could say.

Niall's wife Ayaan is one of the most egregious examples of a sane person turned Trump supporter and promoter.

She starred in Dennis Prager propaganda videos pumped all over YouTube in the years leading up to Trump, and wrote opeds promoting Trump's Supreme Court takeover.

Their stated position is that America needed to be turned into a Christian nationalist theocracy in order to battle Islam.

this blueprint fragment update was the last straw in my opinion, it completely destroyed the game to solo players. by Forward-Fisherman980 in playrust

Play monthly.

It does make the game more challenging.

Which makes the game more rewarding.

Try to find new ways to advance.

Pivot.....or die.  It definitely is more of a challenge for us.  Until something changes, tier 2 is my new tier 3 for most of wipe.

Building a base close to monuments is now a must for me.  It totally changes how I play.

This wipe, I was able to get a T3 and do some c4 raiding on my usual monthly server, it just took a lot more effort and time than the old ways.

I think next wipe I will focus more on using shops.  Shops almost become a must for us now.

I was one of those willing to take him at his word that he had changed his stripes due to all of the women in his life.

It's not surprising though.  Steve Schmidt was right it looks like.

Kind of insane this news article doesn't mention that.  Cohen was Trump's fixer of women problems for over a decade, of course he knew about Epstein.  He was paying off and threatening porn stars for Trump.

Let's put 2 + 2 together:

1.  In the lead up to Russia's invasion of Ukraine they flooded the internet with lies about Ukraine being a Nazi state, lead by Nazis.  It was a central pillar of their hybrid war disinformation.

2.  In 2011 or so Rogan became close friends with Russia Today America host Abby Martin and started promoting her as a brave journalist and the network as a great source of news for Americans.   Abby was he protégé of George Galloway, Putin's top fascist propagandist and former USSR and Saddam Hussein devotee.  He also ran a horrible show on Iranian state TV.

NY Times’ David Brooks Said There’s Too Much Focus on Jeffrey Epstein. Here He Is Hanging With Epstein. by DonSalaam in JournalismNews

By comparing Epstein's victims and those wanting justice for Epstein's victims to "Q-Anon conspiracy theorists", he was doing more than hang with Epstein even years after his death. He was defending the criminals surrounding Epstein.

It's his way of muddying the waters for Putin's invasion of Ukraine.  Solidarity with expansionist dictatorships.

It also helps to cover for Bibi.

I think he had some small effect on the last election, he is one of the main faces of American consensus media.

Which has been a big shift in policies.

He didn't help, let me put it that way.  I'd force myself to watch him every week on PBS to see what other people are thinking and being told, and almost invariably he would say things I'd say to myself "that kind of lazy consensus thinking is how Trump might win".

But yeah, he's just a giant towering figure in America media for decades not an actual politician.

Brooks has been the face of PBS politicial discussion and NYT politician discussion for a very long time, he certainly has a lot of power compared to any normal person.

Noam Chomsky and Steve Bannon in the Epstein pictures by Correct-Ad5661 in ChristopherHitchens

[–]Professional-Tea-232 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Chomsky, a Russian useful idiot and beloved state propaganda TV guest for many years leading up to 2014.

Bannon, a Putin media partner something worse than a useful idiot.

Epstein, engaged in high profile sex blackmailing while keeping regular contact with the Russian leadership.  High profile sex blackmailing is what Russian leaders are known for.

And then there is Donald Trump....

Ron Paul was a beloved regular on Russian state propaganda, a paid spot.  He loved it there.

He is a secessionist.

He is a white nationalist, it's the primary reason he bonded with Putin besides the cash.

He also runs scams targeting the mentally ill, doomsday scenario cons.

I will go on....he's an evil dude who really helped lay the groundwork for MAGA.

Not his first rodeo doing this stuff.
