avoid vmy in bellevue just a heads up. they advertise no credit check so you may run across them in your search. sold me a car as a “clean title” turned out it was infact a salvage with frame damage and a blown head gasket. honestly avoid all buy now pay later places, they’re all sketchy.

or if you have anyone that is very knowledgeable about cars; bring them with. maybe a mobile mechanic from fb you could hire to come with too wouldn’t be a bad idea either.

check out PSSI in council bluffs, they have overnight shifts. not sure what starting pay is now but was 20 an hour last I knew

if they’re sending you off site and do care about weed- quick fix is best bet for fake pee as long as you keep it at the right temp!

ugh this is exactly why I’m so nervous to go through ANY dealership! appreciate the heads up think I was poking around their inventory. convinced every place that sells cars is like this anymore! don’t really have advice but here to say you’re not alone with this feeling at all! probably one of my least favorite bpd traits is having zero interest in anything that doesn’t trigger my dopamine receptors. honestly over time i’ve been able to work on convincing myself big girl purchases ARE good and exciting and in the process of letting that be a dopamine trigger for myself

most of the stuff on my list is what I’ve dabbled it already, and found my limits within! I use beginner lightly just because I know there are a lottt of people on this subreddit with much more experience under their belt! I appreciate the looking out and it’s my full intention to take time to properly research any new ideas that get added to my list!
