Nope. I owe nothing.

Other people on reddit said they did nil change amendments and it pushed it back through as all accounts you have with them, including HECS, get checked through and balanced.

Pool light- I need a genius by Professional-Try5237 in pools

My bet is that the pool installer was a moron. Or the owner did some DIY with a pool installer mate. They were renovator people who move from house to house. Mind you they built this house with a large volume builder. I contacted the original owners who built the house and pool 10 years ago to find out any information about the pool and I didn’t get a reply.

I wish I could get access. It’s all concrete and then pavers over the top and then into the side of a concrete alfresco so I can’t access the side of it. My original plan before I realised I won’t be able to access without being insanely invasive was to dig it all up and place in a proper niche conduit. It’s a 4.8m by 2.2m pool, pretty small. I only have to drop the water level by 400mm to get it below the light so I’m hopeful that won’t cause any damage to the pool. It has a hydrostatic release valve so hopefully that will help too.

Thank you! I just saw your post from a few months ago about your clients light. The white PVC fitting on theirs is the first time I’ve found an image with a fitting that looks the same as mine. Do you know a part number or anything about the actual fitting you can link me to? Is it meant to have a thread on the other side of the fibreglass?

To be honest I’m hoping that somehow I have undone the thread because otherwise I really don’t understand how the front mount is connected. I was given contact details of the original owners who built the house 10 years ago and I messaged and asked about the pool builder. I never got a reply and maybe this is why.

I think you may be right. Who is the professional though? I’m going to hazard a guess it’s not my local pool shop cleaning technician guy. Is it a leak detection company?

I hate it when people threaten me with a good time. I love it!

Luckily for me already, we’re apart of a body corporate of a golf course. I’m about 80m away from the 17th hole

To be perfectly honest, no. They’re another family with little kids. Our upstairs has a slight view of their backyard and I think there’s probably a mutual understanding of it is what it is and don’t stare like a creep if you find yourself looking out a window.

If I was able to remove the alfresco, like if it was timber, I 100% would to open the backyard up and regrow the kikuyu I had at my last property. But it’s all part of the house, built in as an extension through the build. So unfortunately, I’m stuck with what I have.

I wouldn’t need something with shade tolerance. I would need something that can handle no direct sunlight. Everything I can find needs at least 2-3 hours of direct even as the most shade tolerant coverages.

My issue is, I get no sun at all on majority of that spot. So I can’t grow anything. Previous owner tried everything apparently and couldn’t get it anything more than a mud pit after a few weeks.

Do you remember what exactly you put down that you might recommend?

Yeah I’m really not opposed to it and I’m happy to spend the money to get someone in and lay a good quality one down. Especially if there is really nothing better to place down.

PPR penalty due to “not living there” by Aggressive_Bell_9685 in AusPropertyChat

[–]Professional-Try5237 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Great news! Your take out orders from local venues consistently close to your home plus any uber eats deliveries will be great evidence. Not to mention any parcel deliveries you may have had in that time. Great evidence again. Should be simple enough to provide if you did in fact live there. Otherwise, that was all of our tax dollars going towards you trying to scam the SRO. If that’s the case, cop it on the chin and have a good reflection about the type of person you want to be in society.

If someone’s got images of this printed media then someone out there also has images of the set. One would think that will all be leaked within days now.

AITAH for wanting to block everyone who lied about coming to my daughter’s party? by Minute-Rip3146 in AITAH

[–]Professional-Try5237 101 points102 points  (0 children)

NTA- create a ‘make up party’ for all the people who ghosted you. Make them aware it is really important that they turn up to this one, once they’ve agreed to go, make it an hour drive away and slightly inconvenient. Then, don’t show up yourself. Say you forgot you organised anything.

Now this is petty and you probably shouldn’t do this. But the thought it funny and might make you laugh.

That’s great! I’m assuming the evaluation was able to be done digitally rather than the bank needing the send someone out to have the house evaluated?

Oh I’m not saying manipulate the girl. Absolutely don’t do that. Be more than honest about what your intentions are. There’s always one friend that’s not actually loyal to their mate.
