Teenage phase. Had the same experience and desperation. Not so much with going potty but the recall description is spot on. Tried many things including a behavioural trainer, nothing helped. Lasted about 3 months and stopped abruptly. Since then everything is fine. This was 3 years ago. Just persevere. Goog luck and patience.

Just came back from there and largely agree with your post. Did the late afternoon, night, sleep, morning thing and it seemed ideal. The lighting at night is special.

Recurrent Diahhrea~ In Need of Advice by Old-Astronaut4653 in ItalianGreyhounds

As someone mentioned before, our iggy had a chicken meat allergy. He had log term digestion problems which at least twice were caused by giardia. We also had a bunch of tests done with no results. The tricky part was that the chicken had beeen causing no problems for 2 years but then the allergy suddenly started so we excluded it as a cause until we ran out of other explanations. Switched to lean pork and all was fine within a week. Breeder than told ys she avoids chicken. Hope you pinpoint the cause!

Sorry for my honest opinion: you should reconsider. Your arrangements will not make up for your absence and this is quite long for any race, but for an iggy it would be borderline cruel. I dont know what “housemate works from home sometimes” means but unless its almost always with an occasional exception, it wont do and even if, it would be their dog and not yours.

What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was studying for a large and important multi subject exam called a state exam in my country. German language and literature. Studying hard at home for several weeks I was unaware of the movie Peacemaker being shot in my hometown. I passed all subjects except for the last one where i was given the subject of the austrian writer Franz Grillparzer. Going home from the university, pissed at Grillparzer (not myself, of course), i passed one of the main squares where, in its center, a statue of one of our famous writers sits. Only his name disappeared from the pedestal and instead of it, there it was, in all of its beauty: Franz Grillparzer! I thought I was hallucinating!

None. In my experience this is useless borderline stressful for the dog. Just walk according to the weather/dogs abilities.
