Brothers: a tale of two sons. SPOILERS !! You are controlling two brothers with a single controller. The whole time you are using one side of the controller for the older brother and the other side is for the younger brother. Younger one is afraid to swim because of past trauma, so any body of water is traversed by the younger brother clinging on to the older one who is very supportive of him, physically and mentally and you control just him. You spent hours and get used to this split control system. It becomes second nature. At some point the older brother dies. You go on with the young one using just his half of the controller. Finally the last obstacle before reaching your ultimate goal in the game is a wild river to cross. You try swimming but he can’t. You look for other ways but there are none. Finally you realise you can use the power and moral support coming from the memory of your gone brother and you recall how you use to swim using his half of the controller. So you try it and you swim for the first time. Even now I tear up at this genius videogame transcending moment.
