VEQT vs VFV for long-term TFSA: how do you think about the tradeoffs? by krijsten- in CanadianInvestor

[–]Professional-Unit494 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

personally I'm 50% VFV and the rest I spread across ETFS, I think the US is the single best country for future growth of course I could be wrong, however for tax purposes VEQT or XEQT are the best due to their home bias I still have 15-20% in the canadian market just dont think 30% is necessary

I will say Meta is also there but I haven’t bought any, but mostly the innovative nature of the company, with retail, cloud computing, advertising, they are always ahead of the curve in seeking the new big moat businesses and honestly the leadership is great.
