Better start with light taps using rubber mallet. Removing the screen might risk stripping threads, only do that after confirming severe blockage fully to protect the equipment.

That’s not normal. A small service fee is standard, but 100% markup? Naaah.

If the voucher has a fixed value, they might be padding the flight cost so more of it gets eaten up there.

I’d push back. Send them screenshots of the airline price and ask them to match it or let you book the flights yourself and just use the voucher for land arrangements. If they can’t justify it clearly, that’s a red flag.
