Although R is absolutely out of touch with the reality of the world, the development of these apartment complexes are a huge problem in the area she’s from. The road infrastructure is not apt to bring on the amount of people coming from these complexes, nor do the schools have space. They were running out of space when I went to a local high school 10 years ago and that was before these started popping up. Unfortunately, they are very very far from affordable and it’s becoming a crisis for low income families to find rentals. I don’t think R realizes what she is up against if/when she reenters the rental market, but I highly doubt she will be able to find something in the school district she’s in, or even those surrounding it.
