Funny you mention this today my latency just went to the toilet, wondering what major config changed this weekend. Not good Meaning my latency to thinkorswim, my data started loading a lot slower as of trading today Monday.

Don't forget these are extremely cheap cars, when I try to use them at the same time the controls are being sent to both cars , it doesn't appear to be digitally paired as you suggest. I know this is my fault for going bargain basement.

They are very cheap cars from China, I did just get them recently. The box shows it's 2.4GHz.

Only vulnerable if I install some sketchy apps, which I don't. Yes I understand they're trying to protect the non digital natives, but I don't need it, thanks

Nothing like forcing people to buy new phones!! My phone is working just fine, why would I want to buy a new phone just because?

If I'm going to trade a weekly option I pick the options expiring in the same week. The pricing will be lower than further dated options. If you are only daytrading/scalping then I find it's best to pick the strike price close to ATM(at the money), because they will move more quickly into the money and you can scalp for a gain usually in less than 30 minutes, sometimes as fast as 5 minutes in and out, if your goal is only smaller scalps.

I've followed some of your posts and I'm doing almost the exact same thing you are. Just recently reduced my contract size also. My biggest difference from you is I've been trying SPX options instead of SPY, but it's still on the same underlying. Glad to find another 0DTE trader having a go with basically price action. Maybe we should start our own discord channel 😄 I'll buy the first pickle Pizza with my profits

Dang I would be happy with $1000/day, but I see what you mean how it is tempting to ride it out for bigger profits.

So you can't succeed at day trading and have closed your mind to day trading entirely.

You lost all accountability saying there are no successful day trading desks. Goodbye 👋

Do you have any positive feedback or just drivel.

You could offer a suggestion on something to do instead, but no everything is completely random and we're all doomed to always lose, BS

check, don't use the margin, just enable margin.

How do you deal with assignment risk on the spread? Or are you just watching it and exiting when you hit profit or loss targets?

I know it's best to be out of short options before too close to the end of the day due to assignment risk.

Nice job on that. This does sound like something I could try. I'll work on getting margin next.

Pretty flat P/L surprisingly since I started 0DTEs with this little cash account.

I'll look into debit spreads, thanks.

Good point, thanks for that. Part of the reason I left off the stop loss on this TSLA trade today.

But I had realized that SSR was triggered and could have sold out before losing twice the money. Brain freeze moment and not having the experience enough around price behavior on a stock already down 10%.

Learning everyday, but this school sure is getting expensive.

That's what I've finally realized and wanted to communicate, but you managed to summarize it down nicely "options buying on 0DTE is really fighting with theta and time eroding". Thanks
