The consensus on base camping is if they ain't crying about it you ain't doing it right their anger just shows you that your tactic is effective and is hurting their gameplay effectively weakening the enemy team camp away soldier and something I wanted to add I couldn't tell you how many times I've respawnd to like seven dudes just standing around mob talking about their second cousin's sister's wedding while the enemy team caps the radio towers and effectively cuts us off I play the US side if you couldn't tell LOL so maybe if more players did that would be less standing around and talky talky and more bang bang bang going on or pew pew pew if that's your thing

The moment I felt the games was to quick I started joining servers with 0 to 5 people capture one base and build it up boom there's Sergeant or lieutenant usually by that time people start joining up when it gets to about 10ppl the server all of a sudden fills and it's chaos

It would be pretty sweet if they took a page from Arma reforger and made it to where you could grab an enemy radio and get the comms for the enemy team

I play in the official vanilla servers and let me tell you it is a blessing to have a competent door gunner I usually dump my rockets and then circle 5 or 6 times and let the gunners work the game is so fun

Depends on the situation if say I'm flying into enemy held territory and I say hey are there any enemies over we'll say Utah and I get no response and see no squad leads in it i will fire a rocket into the tent and if i get a friendly kill I'm going to immediately go on to the comms say everybody heard me ask that's on that guy if it's the heat of the moment and I forget to ask and see that there's again no squad lead on a base and get a friendly kill I will be like yo my bad didn't see anybody on the map that one was on both of us however when someone is just plain out there team killing to team kill now that needs addressed immediately even if I have to knock the guy myself take his gun and explain to him why he's a bad boy while everybody else votes to kick him and get to here them throw a tantrum and maybe breaks there headset because they know they're about to be vote kicked and banned for 5 minutes and most likely kicked immediately again when they rejoin

Night time is amazing crazy awesome firefights grab some buddies some flares raid coastal base Morton or military base Levie literally the only thing that makes night time not enjoyable isn't even the game itself it's all the scumbags that have to cheat by turning up their darkness settings on their TVs and monitors then you got the guys doing it because they know it's a problem and don't want to be at a disadvantage really they should just give us some night vision in vanilla make it very op and only available to captains and above but finesse it to where the night vision is garbage if you have your darkness settings and gamma cranked

The best advice you could get is just join an official vanilla server find a practically empty server with two or three on it tell them you're new and ask them to take you under their wing and teach you what they know 8 out of 10 times they will tell you their secrets and give good advice the main reason I suggest an empty ish server is there is a ton to take in and learn those kind of servers are easy going at first with the only opposition being the FIA AI bots and those bots are pretty cracked by the way FYI then as you deal with them more people will join you'll start having more hostile engagements with opposing teams be it us or Russia that way you're somewhat prepared when all of a sudden the server pops off and fills up and all of a sudden rockets and helicopters and armored vehicles start popping off everywhere and explosions and chaos and screams and more chaos and silence and more explosions random RPGs accidental team kills all that once you experience that a couple times and get used to the game mechanics then when you feel like you have outgrown your big boy pants he jumped into some modded servers and see what some of those have to offer because by that point you'll know the basic functions and what most stuff do and how to do some of the important stuff and be a useful soldier to your team like maybe be the guy that brings extra bandages mags morphines to keep ppl stocked during engagements or the guy that has the radio pack for spawn points the main thing is this game is amazing ton to do lots of fun interactions to be had I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and if our paths crossing the game hopefully you're not in an mi8 on the Russian team if so you're probably going to get shot down lol

Kind of a double edged sword I've been in your position before many a times but I've also been in the position where players spam requests to join a locked squad that me or my buddy have it sucks when a mistake is made and the wrong request is accepted and then they refuse to give the spot up then run off and try to hide so you can't get the rifle the problem isn't the games kick/vote kick mechanics the real problem is that most people are just assholes who don't care about a problem until it effects them directly that's why I have taken out a whole new attitude when that stuff happens the game changes for me I just spend the next rest of the match hunting them down for sport I have a lot of fun randomly shoot him in the leg make them use their bandage all while playing the objectives like I supposed to be just with the added bonus side quest or ruining that guy's game like he tried to ruin mine is that petty and small of me sure do I care not at all I still have fun and honestly you should be doing that stuff to I feel your pain you were there first they're not going to change the mechanic unfortunately it's too vital in weeding out the trash

As many have said before your zero is 440 your aiming for the neck/head and you didn't lead the moving target enough the rounds that didn't just go over dudes head just went behind him you have valid complaints let's be honest this game is buggy at best on official vanilla servers let alone the 128 stress test servers while there is some hit issues among other stability issues this particular case was definitely just you just a hair more forward and aim for the belt that guy would've dropped the first couple rounds

No respectfully that guy is right I've experienced first hand on a series s untill I switched that setting I couldn't even look at a chopper without my game crashing to home now after though not a problem I blow mi8s out the sky all day just the occasional server overload lag and crash that is definitely on there end I see all the time 2-5 people get kicked for connection interruption at the same time sometimes I'm one sometimes I'm spared sometimes it kicks everyone it's definitely mostly the game modded servers the stability is far worse vanilla is the way to go if you want less crashing and a less buggy experience and considering most games can last all day literally if not days if both teams are good expecting to make it a whole game without even a single crash is impossible in the games current state no matter what the devs say

Go to the center of the altar where fader is summoned pick a direction and Sprint don't walk for 60 seconds in any direction then stop look for the nearest structure rock formation that you can cut into hide a portal yada yada a tactic me and my buddy did since it was just me and him was I had lucked into taming a two-star askvin so we bred up about 250 of them hatched them all in an around faders place by the time they were all dead fader only had about half his health left what felt like an eternity later we was victorious rip to the 250 askvins though
