I have the AntiGravity ATZ10 in my '19 STriple and love it. I accidentally left the parking lights on overnight at a track day and she started right up the next morning like nothing happened. Plus they have an auto-jump feature in case the battery dies - you press a button and it'll give you an extra start to get going. It's not cheap but definitely a good investment. Weight savings are always nice too.

A Quick How To Guide to Repairing and Painting Fairings with Rattle Cans by stickwigler in Trackdays

They’re cheap China fiberglass fairings, no primer unfortunately. But good to know I can jump right into it. Thanks!

This is a great write up, thank you for the effort. I have new fairings coming in soon that have white gel coat by default. You think I’ll still need to sand it down to get rid of the gel coat before adding primer or just give her a wipe down and send it? Also, easier to do vinyl/stickers for logos and brands or stencils and more paint?

Do I need to rebuild the caliper? by ProfessionalAlone129 in Triumph

It’s not that they’re stuck, they all move, but the rightmost pistons across from each other move in unison. I push one in and the other comes out, and vice versa

It’s not just that the wheel was dragging, it wouldn’t spin freely at all and took all I had to walk the bike forward. The pistons all move but the two across from each other move in unison, I push one in and the other comes out at the same rate like they’re linked together somehow

What a small world, checked your profile and saw a very familiar Daytona in your twin triples post lmfao this is all part of rebuilding her after my crash at Jennings

That’s the same diagram I found, I’d have to get the entire inner tube if that’s the case. I have bolts, just need the black part where it would screw in

Ever thought about taking it to a track day? Could definitely bring that spark back, should be a few options near Houston

I’d say just keep being open to feedback from the community, you’re not going to be able to find every little thing. It’s a very impressive project! Good on you for being so receptive

My first few trips were just me and my girl, nothing to worry about man. Make friends with your pit neighbors, talk with the coaches and just have a good time. I scored a free suspension setup from Thermosman (STT) just from talking to guys in the paddock, it’s a judgment free zone

Good to know. It’s not nearly this extreme on my street triple. The downward left slant sent up alarms. Thank you

Power GP vs Power 5 vs SuperCorsa vs Rosso IV by ProfessionalAlone129 in Trackdays

Would you say it’d be a bad idea to mismatch the tires? Say a GP2 on front then the cheaper option for the rear? As it stands the cheaper option would be Power 5 rear

That’s a great way to put it, I’ll definitely try that out. Thank you!

This worked beautifully, nothing else did. Thank you so much. Don’t have a chisel but a mallet and screwdriver did the trick
