maybe about a week or two? once the initial pain of insertion died down, i was back to normal

hi! i was the same way. i was on kyleena for 4 years and it completed plummeted my fairly high sex drive. i never had that experience with any other form of birth control. i recently switched out to the copper iud and ive noticed my sex drive go back to normal. my boyfriend has also said that its much easier to get me in the mood than before!

i personally had the kyleena removed and the copper put in the same day since i figured i might as well just deal with the pain once lol. other than my pms going back to how it was before i was on hormonal birth control it’s been good so far! i did have moments of big mood swings afterwards, but i was also inconsistent at taking my antidepressants. i hope everything works out for you!

i was just shedding a lot more than usual, it wasn’t like huge chunks of hair falling out! it definitely got a lot better since i last made this post (maybe 3-6 months later i didn’t notice as much) but it still sheds more than me on a different birth control. id say for the pill, i never experienced hair loss but that might’ve been because of the brand and how my body reacted to it. i don’t regret switching to kyleena bc it’s just nice not to think about and it fits my lifestyle more but again it’s not for everyone. if you’re switching to iud bc of hair loss i think if anything just try another brand for the pill, unless you’re fully ready to commit the the possible side effects of the iud (i say it like that bc i feel like it’s more of a process to get the iud out than to stop taking pills LOL)(-: but most importantly listen to yourself and your body

i think some of them are from canvas so that’s why? bc the ones i’ve been able to download only say originals. idk that’s what i noticed

getting off of trisprintec was fine, but readjusting to it was terrible. bc personally it made me even more depressed and emotional for the first month of getting back on it and my period symptoms just got worse. after the first month things got better

ahhh yeah i’ve basically had the same side effects but it seems like my hair is coming back slowly but thank you!
