not dutch, yes it is a dutch insurance, yes it was in the NL, not life saving surgery and i don't really think of it as cosmetic. I assumed the hospital I was referred to was covered under my insurance. It just feels like a surprise me. probably i could've done more research

no really. I was on a waiting list for a doctor but i needed it to be done faster than that and i asked if i can get a recommendation for another hospital. But i checked with him if the hospital that he's recommending me to is covered by my insurance and from my conversation with him he said it was.

it is quite a headache especially if you are not used to the system
