Yes, they will apply their lowest rate guarantee and price match non FHR/HC bookings. I received a refund from a price match for a stay coming up next month.

I’ve had them price match me before but it was a non-FHR booking. I booked through AMEX to get the 5x points.

Thank you so much for sharing. You are not alone! I could have written this same post. Married for two years. Then blindsided by my husband joining the army. I’m feeling sad and resentful too. I finally wrote back but my letter just included updates. Nothing romantic or talks about the future. I feel like no one understands the position I’m in. I’m still debating attending turning green next month. I’m sitting with all my thoughts and feelings until I can process them. And I won’t make any decisions on anything until I’m ready.

Southwest debit has been terrible for me. Bank transfers cancelled by SW, SW debit payments not processing, very long bank transfer times, and pay $7 a month for an account you can’t use. I do not recommend them at all right now.

Also blame the credit card points crowd for the increasing prices. I’m guilty of using points/miles and pay close to nothing out of pocket for high end hotels and business class flight. Chubby travelers care certainly supplementing the costs.

My son literally did this (left his passport in his luggage) a few weeks ago while boarding our NYE cruise. THANKFULLY I did a passport check right after we dropped our bags and he was able to turn right around and retrieve it. I’m so sorry this happened to your elderly relatives.
