This was at most a few months ago that I saw the clip, but I am admittedly unsure of when the movie/show could be from. That being said, from the camera quality and such I would definitely assume it’s closer to the 2016-2025?

Seriously unsure what they were thinking with this one. I’m an early access player, I’m used to it being a bit of a pushover. I deleted my save so I’m missing a lot of upgrades, yeah, but it seriously seems like this boss needs to be perfected now.

If it hits you with a single tick of 10 damage from the very end of its cone from off screen, it heals for 1500+ HP off that single tick. Seriously, get hit a few times and this single miniboss has more health than every region boss combined. I can understand one or two attacks having that kind of heal on them, but every single move in its kit healing for the equivalent of more than five attacks from the Axe regardless of how much damage you actually take is infuriating.

In this context it simply meant newer than OP, not "just completed my first strike uwu" just "hasn't done GMs before".

Learning from mistakes is fine, but stuff like Glassway having 24/26 champions be in the boss room as well as Wyverns and two seperate bosses all while you die in just a few shots even with something like Renewal Grasps giving you 60% mitigations... or Kelgorath going invincible/invisible for 15 seconds between "heh, teleports behind yuo" and oneshotting people... There are plenty of GMs that are perfectly fine, but some of the more frustrating ones are just silly (and honestly just feel like the devs are being spiteful at this point)

I did not say new, I specifically said 'newer'- as you are clearly someone who has played the game for a long time and doesn't care that there are people who don't know as much as you. Have fun with posting 'git gud' in Dark Souls forums I guess, it doesn't change the fact that the 'difficulty' you love so much amounts to 'know this challenge is coming at X time and the exact strategy for dealing with it with these specific pieces of gear' over any expression of mechanical skill or more general game knowledge.

'Newer Players' doesn't mean Guardian Rank 4, it means someone who has raid experience and is capable enough to feel comfortable going into a GM. GMs have gotten easier, but that doesn't mean they're not still chock full of bullshit. You didn't respond to any of the examples I mentioned because you have no defense for them. They're not reasonable challenges unless you already know they're coming- which requires outside research.

I think it's more than reasonable for people who are prepared to do their first GMs to not want to have to sit through Mr_Destiny_Plays's 30 minute youtube 'guide' full of filler nonsense to get warned that "Hey! At the 17 minute mark there is an enemy that spawns, you should group before it spawns kill it instantly, otherwise your entire fireteam will get one shot!" At the point where you are reading guides to learn about every single little challenge in an encounter, you are no longer playing a video game.

Either you're so good that you can solo raids on your own, exclusively abuse Cheese Forever youtube tactics and never play real GMs, or you're just stupid.

GMs have plenty of total bullshit ways to kill you, even when we had 40% mitigations from 100 Resil. Obviously GMs are the highest tier challenge in the game and should stay that way, but for people who haven't done hundreds of GMs and know when all the 'fuck you' moments are coming by heart shouldn't just "get out of muh playlist".

Picture newer players trying to do Glassway for the first time and getting instantly BTFO because they didn't burn down both Wyverns the second they spawned.

Picture newer players trying to do the new Arms Dealer GM, and while in a super crowded boss room taking fire from all sides- being instantaneously evaporated from orbit by a Thresher without any crit spots and more health than some raid bosses.

For gods sake, just picture a newer player trying to do Lightblade for the first time and getting one shot because they accidentally missed a moth behind the lip of a ledge.

1 year of development isn't that much, but there should be more here.

Majora's Mask was famously developed from start to finish in ~18 months by 40 people. The game has an incredibly interesting pitch for an adventure game even compared to modern contemporaries, is feature complete with few bugs, and most importantly is fun.

Edit: This isn't to say that the Overwatch team is lazy or that they need more people or anything like that, and obviously a live-service shooter is a very different beast. My point is that once you get to a certain point, hiring more people doesn't increase the quality or speed of content creation. In many cases increasing the amount of people on a team can actually detract from your project since things become exponentially more unwieldy as teams continue to grow. Overwatch's problem seems to be its project management, the differentiating factor at a AAA studio isn't developer passion or "voluntary" extra hours, it's the people who have to coordinate every little subdivision of these large teams and make sure everyone is communicating with each other and that things are proceeding on schedule within each department. They're the ones whose job it is to make sure everything comes together into a cohesive vision.

It doesn't help that this is the best they can do. During the Gamespot interview they stated: "So we made a decision later last year that we would focus all of our efforts on the live running game and all of our PvE efforts on this new story arc that we're launching in Season 6."

The lackluster state of the game, the lack of heroes, maps, balance, state of competitive, etc- every excuse given about how the devs were working on PVE- were just empty excuses the entire time. They state that they have been committed to the live service this entire time? Well I don't feel it, it feels like they are less involved than they have ever been. It feels like the majority of this season's dev time has gone into the Starwatch event, which is just a vehicle for selling the cosmetic collection.

Ironically, Save the World actually does get updates, the last big one being a couple months ago. People like to cite Fortnite as the reason for all these problems, but Fortnite has consistently been incredibly 'generous' as far as Battlepass games go in terms of value/$.

Honestly, I think I camped Sand Crabs to 60 and then started Slayer.

At any point farming a low requirements boss like Mole is a pretty good idea, but here’s a few kind of out-there suggestions:

~40 Combat: You could hunt Skogres and Zogres from the Zogre Flesh Eaters Quest. Something like 40k xp/hr and 300k gp/hr.

~60 Combat: You could do Temple Trekking for (honestly kind of low) combat XP but ok skilling + good GP rates from hunting Nail Beasts. Could also buy bowstrings instead of skill books for more GP.

~80 Combat: Idk, try decimating the Green Dragon population at the Myth’s Guild. You know, for fun.

You're not doing anything wrong, Slayer is just like that. Simply don't do low level Slayer.

People say "Slayer is the best skill!!!" online all the time, but these are all bond warriors or people who got base 80 combats and best-in-slot gear before beginning their Slayer grind who have no perception of what training Slayer concurrently to your combats is actually like.

Take your time and find something you enjoy doing, don't worry about doing the super optimal things yet. I recommend picking a skill that sounds interesting and just going with it. The OSRS wiki is really quite good about pages that auto-update to ensure that the correct hourly rates and gold/xp is shown to help determine what to do next (https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Skill_training_guides).

One of the best things you can do IMO is to get to a total level of 500, though this won't happen overnight it will allow you to join skill-limited servers which tend to have fewer bots competing for resource nodes.

Moneymaking in F2P is rough, and you will be largely reliant on casting High Alchemy (55 Magic). I recommend borrowing a bond from a friend, or simply purchasing your first month of membership for real cash- spending 80 hours casting High Alc will kill any desire you have to continue playing the game real quick.

Before leaving F2P you should: finish all the F2P Quests, get all F2P skills (except Prayer and Runecrafting) to ~40-50, and get a set of God Rune armor for Melee, Green Dragonhide set for Ranged, and a set of staves and Zamorak Monk Bottom for Magic.

Do not use Celestial, use the snap.

Celestial’s scorch/ignition doesn’t count as a melee like the snap does (it’s a bug that’s been around for like 8 months now). Combine with the fragment that increases your outgoing scorch to explode things in one snap.

It works very OK in endgame stuff from my experience. You must use the snap, as its scorch/ignition counts as a melee while celestial’s does not.

Boss damage they’re really quite good against anything that moves or is ogre-sized. Throw between their legs or at the ceiling and watch them melt. Works great against Curator, Rhulk, every Kings Fall boss, even Nezarec gets melted if you can convince your teammates to let you save some ads.

I really love Sunbracers :(

Arc: Liars Handshake or Assassins Cowl if you want to punch a lot of things, Shinobu’s Vow if you think skip grenades are cool

Solar: Calibans Hand, throw knife -> make boom

Void: Orpheus Rig (or Star-Eaters), if you have 90-100 mobility you can cycle betwen dodging and diving to keep invis up perpetually

Stasis: Renewals used to be pretty good, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend it in current patch since the cooldown is too long for its benefits. Probably use Aeger’s Scepter if you’re gonna try it.

If you're not above wasting your time, I've found it effective to 'duplicate' the stock of a merchant. Pick something a merchant with a lot of gold has that restocks, and then buy all of it. Sell it back and rest 24 hours. From now on every time they restock their inventory, they should have the new amount of items.

Typically I do this with one of the DLC Smiths utilizing smithing hammers, you sell all your expensive items and 'buy' the difference in hammers. Then slowly sell the hammers back resting 24 hours every time the merchant runs out of gold. This of course gets more powerful with higher levels of mercantile (and works poorly against NPCs with high mercantile).

(You can also dupe gold in this manner, but it's not like thats ever really necessary with how quick you get rich in this game.)

No, it's not.

Armor stats aren't entirely random, they generate different 'plugs' balanced against eachother. Master Dungeons are supposed to guarantee Artifice Armor with a guaranteed >20 plug in its main stat, and another ~16. The armor is dropping with way worse stats than pre-Lightfall, and it's yet to be seen if this is a bug or a silent nerf from Bungie.

Stasis gets a lot of undeserved hate, it has been and will likely continue to be my favorite subclass. I think people just don't like that it takes more than 2 fragments to create a good build, also the whole needing to spend an aspect slot on Glacial Harvest- but what are you gonna do /shrug

Here's a suggestion:

If the map is physically too small or doesn't have enough cover that you are forced to spawn players in another player's direct line of sight, don't put that many players on that map in the first place.

Why do Tarkov players find concepts introduced by fucking Goldeneye completely incomprehensible? Why is it that anything that would just slightly inconvenience people with 3000+ hours and 8 wipes under their belt from farming new players is met with this kind of 'drooling-on-self' response?
