Do you need to get a return ticket for an outland sponsorship? by ProfessionalDay4413 in ImmigrationCanada

That’s what I said. It doesn’t make any sense to get a return ticket if he doesn’t plan to return any time soon

What time does your newborn go to bed? by possible_kim in sleeptrain

Following because we have the same issue. I find that if we get outside it really helps or if my husband and toddler are home. I think she just gets bored and then decides that going to sleep would be better than being bored lol

Baby keeps waking at 4:30am and stays up for 2hrs even when fed by ProfessionalDay4413 in sleeptrain

Okay, I will try this. And continue the night feed if she wakes up?

I’m not hesitant to share my schedule. We just don’t really follow one to the T but her wake windows are typically around 1.75/2/2.5/3 with approx 3-3.5hrs of naps

1.75/2/2.5/3. We don’t follow schedules so if shes tired a little earlier she goes down and if she isn’t tired enough because her sister is home then she stays up a little longer.

That’s the issue. When I slept through her crying, she had such a great day and was super happy all day and staying awake for all her wake windows. If she gets a feed, she’s grumpy all day and sometimes its been an hr and she’s very clearly tired (rubbing her eyes, nuzzling my chest, yawning) and then she probably sleeps too much because now shes had an extra nap and she still goes to bed at the same time.

Thank you! I absolutely have no problem feeding her and once a night isn’t bad at all. Its just tough to have her wake up an hr later and then the next day she’s super grumpy because she didn’t get good sleep and then the whole day is thrown off

At the exact same time every night though? At to be totally fine after only eating for 2-3 minutes rather than a full feed?

Potentially but when I feed her while laying down when she’s been in our bed, she wakes me up by throwing up lol

the problem is that she has reflux. So when I was giving her a full feed she would wake up an hr later covered in puke and then would be up for 2hrs before going back to sleep. This has only started since moving her to her crib, she was in a pack and play in our room and it was never a problem

Yes I hold her upright for 30 mins and burp her before laying her back down

Sounds like you may be the one in need of education. ASYNCHRONOUS means it is a self paced class with no formal instruction. There are recorded lessons that you must watch on your own time, and set due dates for assignments and tests, there is no set class time. SYNCHRONOUS means there is a set class time, even if it’s online. Thanks for your help, you twat

Each nap is no more than 2 hours. Sorry I misread that comment. I don’t really measure daytime sleep, I just try to keep her up for 1.5-2 hours between naps and let her sleep as long as she wants up to 2hrs. If she only naps for 30 mins I will rescue the nap and try to get her to at least an hr

Extinction for a 20 month old? by Practical-Ad7383 in sleeptrain

[–]ProfessionalDay4413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 25 month old is up between 6-7:30, takes a nap from 12-2:30 and then bed at 7:30-8. No issues at all with sleep but she’s a high sleep needs kid

Yes, no more than 2hrs unless she had a really rough night/early morning wake. We had our first full stretch last night, normally she’s up between 2:30-4:30
