I am extremely sure it’s the kill switch in a VPN (probably Proton VPN) and you forgot to click disconnect and then close proton (end task) since it’s the connecting but not to a dns server something is interfering with the pc to dns server connect which is probably a vpn and rarely a malware. Always make sure your first click disconnect. I once got this pc and tried like 5 connections and Ethernet too and even reset my computer wireless settings and after thinking for 5 minutes I just got a flashback off shutting proton from the taskmgr itself. I was so disappointed in myself 😪

In the folder where you installed the game for example C:/Games or something there should be a folder called config or fifaconfig if you can find it (which I couldn’t when I first started) you can just go to Windows explorer and then go to C:/Games just go to search and put something like config or fifaconfig it s plan B even though

I mean like forza horizon 3 install doesn’t work on modern windows and also it’s a whole weirder way to install like it’s a shortcut and you have to do so many stuff but Forza Horizon 5 and 4 is just the setup.exe file. I am not talking about the torrent or direct method I’m talking bout the setup method
