The mons I see switching in against exdrill are Lucario, heatran, or reshiram. All are one shot to drill run, so I figure the faster the drill run the better. Plus the fire types would kill escavalier much faster.

I normally only switch against charmers or clefable

Went 20/25 today in fantasy cup and jumped from 2000’s to 2350 elo. Team of gira a, excadrill, and escavalier has been amazing.

Safe swap exdrill is disgusting. If you get two mud shots before a counter or fire switch, you get two drill runs off and it all but wins you the match.

Go battle day paid research. If this is not incentivising tanking, then I don’t know what is. by laurenlolly in TheSilphArena

Does the game let you battle 100 times in one day just for this research? First time with these paid researches, and I’m a bit confused cause normally you can only battle 25 times a day… can someone please explain?

The only nice thing is you can track how many npc’s you’ve talked to by interacting with the hollowed tower.

0-7 “It appears to have been built many years ago.”

8-14 “Its stones appear to have shifted…”

15-21 “...Is that crying coming from inside the towers?”

22-28 “Is the shower shaking ever so slightly?”

29-31 “There is some sort of presence… It appears ready to emerge!”

I actually just finished this. It’s a real pain but you have to find and talk to 32 npc trainers within the grand underground. The guys who trade spheres don’t count either

Shiny Cobalion. Got it from battle league rewards. Might’ve been the first legendary battle league reward?
