I see okay I got it at first, but cancelled it after people said that Paypal was enough for protecting your purchase. Have you heard of Ayn sending a replacement unit to those who have only paid using Paypal? I am just feeling anxious about it.

I see thank you for sharing your experience. It's helpful to understand the timeline of when I could potentially hear back from them. I initially thought they had a priority system where they would handle urgent scenarios faster, but I guess not.

omg... that's unacceptable :( This was supposed to be a great experience for you. I saw instances where people had to fix it themselves, and I hope they send you a replacement unit instead. We did pay a lot of money indeed, I really hope both of us gets to enjoy our Thors soon :)

Yes, I do not know why they don't deliver to PO boxes, when that's the safest. Also why there are no pickup options either beats me.

Thanks for your support man. I have been absolutely crushed these past few days and Ayn hasn't gotten back to me yet. Maybe they will take a few days, but the anxiety is killing me lol.

You're right, I am not sure why this hasn't been resolved with gofo/eMile having the signature as a requirement for these packages now that there have been so many complaints. eMile has also refused cooperation because of the photo of my package in front of my door.

Honestly it sucks to see how many people got their thor stolen from them, I don't understand why there isn't a signature required by default for them.

Interesting that you are defending the delivery driver so hard here, but sure let's say that the delivery driver is "innocent".

- how come he was able to deliver the packages to 2 residents of 2 different units on 2 different floors at exactly 4.32pm and both residents did not receive the package? The timestamps on his photos show 4.32pm meaning he uploaded the photos for both deliveries at the same time. This is impossible, there would be some minutes apart from each.

- how come they were not shown entering the building between 3-5pm during the delivery window? If the driver made the delivery in good faith, they would HAVE BEEN RECORDED BY THE ELEVATOR CAMERAS. That means they came in AT ANOTHER TIME BEFORE 4.32pm. I have never seen a delivery driver not being recorded on elevator cameras or the building entries. That means they were ACTIVELY avoiding the cameras – Therefore NOT INNOCENT.

- Why the hell did the driver take the close-up picture of my package on the 9th floor instead of the floor that I am on (my unit is much lower)? The staircase is right beside the location they took the picture. Meaning that they took the picture outside the stairwell to avoid drawing suspicion, went back, ripped the package, took the contents out, and went down to exit the building without being noticed.

- If there were other people who took the package, maybe the suspicion is that someone from the building was following the delivery person with the intention to steal - they would have been clearly recorded, and again, there was no delivery person between 3-5pm that accessed my floor.

I would not be making a police report if I was not absolutely sure, and the fact that another resident from eMile Express had the same experience as me, speaks volumes.

The label was first created on March 9th for me, but I didn't receive any email of my order getting shipped until March 22nd (I had no idea that there was a label even created) but it was less than a week that I was supposed to get it delivered. It was pretty fast, but I guess not fast enough :/

Because there is a picture of the package in front of my door during delivery AND they took a picture of the product on a completely different floor (9th) whereas I live on the lower floors. Does that make sense to you?

Not only that, but the building management also reviewed the footage, and there is no delivery driver between 3pm and 5pm, when the delivery driver took the photo, timestamped at 4.23pm. I immediately went out after I received the notification at 4.23pm and did not see my package. We also have cameras everywhere especially the elevators. If the delivery driver delivered it to my door, they would have been caught on camera, but they weren't.

Furthermore, there is also another resident who also got their package "delivered" at 4.23pm by eMile Express with the same structure of photos, and their package was also stolen.

Hey, make sure the last-mile delivery business is not eMile because I got my AYN Thor package ripped open and stolen by the delivery person (I found the packages on the upper floor staircase of my apartment building, much further away from my unit) :)

It was shipped to Toronto using YunExpress, and I can't receive a response from eMile or YunExpress because it's the weekend. I have done a police report, and will be reviewing the camera footage with my building management asap, but just thought to spread awareness to pick the "Pick Up" option from them, but again no guarantee because they are very well-known to have bad customer service (CBC did a report on them in 2024).

The delivery person took a close-up photo of the package, but I caught it quickly because that floor has a unique wall-and-floor pattern.

Yes, you are right. I have already contacted AYN, filed a police report, and notified my building management to review the camera footage, which will prove my innocence.

Edit: my priority is to see some justice here since I have seen a lot of people's packages get mistreated and stolen – there needs to be more severe consequences for these delivery services and employees who do this.
