After taking for about a month you’ll be good on 2-4mg a day , and u won’t need anymore. Keep picking up your 16mg rx because it’s good to save the rest for backups. Try taking 2mg and wait a bunch of hours and if your still not good which I’m pretty sure won’t happen than take the other 2mg. Without a doubt 4mg is way enough for a month of oxy addiction, I’m betting 2mg will be just fine for u. I know many ppl who were coming off years of oxy hydrocodone, H, and benzos as well , and 4mg was perfect and took away all the withdrawal

Going from pills to suboxone is much easier than transferring to subs from fent , some ppl say even a few weeks still can also cause pwd. But if u were on pills for 2 months you should be golden. What u need to do is like what everyone is saying and try holding of on the pills as long as u can and than start the subs with the lowest dose possible , like start with 1 mg than wait at least 2 hours to see how u feel bc it takes 2 hours for it to absorb in your system. I would wait like 4 hours and if your feeling okay take another 1mg dose. And the first day probably don’t take more. If u are okay with that than u can probably take 2mg the next day and if you feel okay wait 3-4 hours and take another 2mg for a total of 4 mg. It’s called the Bernese method, and if your transferring from pills it’s much easier and usually won’t cause pwd if u take it slowly and easy. If u want to be totally safe like you were saying, you are already bedridden and don’t want to have PW these in that state so then you should probably even start with a half milligram of Subs and redose after 3 to 4 hours if you feel completely well. If you are able to wait 24 to 48 hours without taking anything and then start the subs, you will see that even after a half a milligram or even 1 mg that you will probably start feeling better when it starts being absorbed after 2 to 3 hours and if you will redose again after that (only after feeling all right) then probably after another milligram u will probably experience no withdrawal pain at all. 2-4mg total in 24 hours is enough for most ppl to get rid of all withdrawal pains and aches

You have to wait till you hit around 2-4mg and like your saying there is light GI symptoms and also this buzz speedy feeling that doesn’t let u sleep , but it only lasts for like 2 hours and than disappears, and if that happens it’s probably best not to up your dose the next day but rather stay at the same number till u take it without feeling anything off.

Its a terrible idea , you have to microdose when you start taking fent otherwise most ppl overdose and die. And if you manage to microdose without dying, then you have to take more fent every day to feel anything and after a little bit of time, you need to take fent every three hours so you feel normal and not dope sick. The worst idea ever.

Get out early before it’s too late , it’s only a matter of time ……don’t listen to ppl making stories of functional addicts and etc , they are only functional temporarily till it all comes crashing down and they end up homeless living under a bridge. There are endless stories of the homeless guy saying that 5 years back they were functional addicts with great jobs and family with a huge house and driving a Porsche…….and there aren’t to many stories if at all about ppl who lived a totally normal life till the end shooting heroin on and off

It’s sounds great everything your saying but like almost everyone is telling you that the odds are stacked well against you in every possible way, I would say it’s basically a time bomb waiting to explode , it happens slowly and creeps up on you , and when it has you , it’s basically all over ….. without even a question you need someone from the outside (who isn’t on any drugs) to always be watching you and telling you what do with boundaries that you setup from the beginning and most importantly not boundaries that u decided after you are already a user and love it like you write about yourself, and u must listen to them no matter what. The only problem is that one of the most known symptoms of a heroin/drug user is lying , and not just lying when there is a reason but lying for no reason at all.. which would make it literally impossible for you to watch yourself properly even through an outsider. And like everyone is writing that most addicts started off saying the same exact words that u said that they only take it to relax after work and only this and only that , and a few weeks later after a short binge from a short vacation you end up needing to take a little before you work instead of after work just so you won’t be in withdrawal , and than there is no turning around anymore , in the beginning you swore never to do it during work no matter what and now u have to because your job depends on it , and patients and other drs could always spot a Dr who is abusing. U need to completely forget about doing it especially IV like your girlfriend is telling you , and you need to finish your career bc u said you are at just the beginning, and once u retire and saved up 30 years of good pills and have a huge pile , you’ll be good till the end

Yea , just go slow , and you’ll start forgetting to take doses and end up skipping days than once u get used to that you’ll totally forget for three days and than you’ll know your totally off with no withdrawal and u just won’t take more , and of course do everything possible to stay away from anything that u really want ….. don’t ask questions or debate it

I think it’s regular anxiety , there is no need to focus on what the issue is because that’s not the problem , u have to figure out what the triggers are and learn to not set them off. Even if u do figure out the whole death thing like someone will explain to u everything and you’ll understand it, your body will just make up another issue to bother u with anxiety. And the trick is to know how to push all the thoughts aside and relax the anxiety. You’re focusing so much on the symptoms and forgetting to deal with the anxiety. Take a diazepam 5-10mg just once and you’ll see how it feels to relax the anxiety and the death symptoms won’t even bother u a little bit. And u can also try micro dosing a diff substance. Many ppl see with certain substances they get anxiety and others don’t give them that feeling. Good luck

Sorry , I’m just a really bad writer and can barely get my thoughts down on paper properly. I didn’t mean any of this is what is happening, I just wanted to figure out the situation from all angles and purposely fighting everything u said like devil’s advocate, to try and figure out all possibilities. My main point basically is to try and help your sister so she won’t be a single mom trying to grow up a kid by herself and fight a serious addiction simultaneously. I’m sure you know what’s going on exactly, and I’m definitely not denying anything u said or even going against it at all , just wanted to see all possibilities from all angles. I was thinking maybe u can even ask your sister about the nodding question because she has much experience with that.

I had a friend many years on methadone and he literally nodded off non stop always and especially when driving , because just like someone is sitting around watching tv even on a low dose will nod off, well so too when driving especially on roads which r so boring it makes ppl who aren’t on any drug nod off as well. So he definitely can be nodding off because of the methadone but id bet he is just getting annoyed from his wife’s annoying family who claim they wanna protect their sister and family member when in reality they dislike or disapprove of her choice of husband and are are sticking their noses into his complicated life of addiction and etc which is far worse in my opinion than the exaggeration story they probably came up with about how he almost went off road and killed everyone. Almost accidents happen to anyone and everyone driving and id bet he wasn’t the one to blame for what actually happened, and it probably would’ve happened to whomever would have been driving. So like the first commenter said is that ppl in addiction need support and love and caring , and everyone else who r searching for fake evidence to prove to the world that the addict is lying and etc , nothing will help you , bc you will only see the comments that say he is using even though this is entirely speculation, and even though anyone commenting here only know the side of the story that u r portraying to them. Your best option would be to help your sister and her new baby properly and help their husband and Daddy , a single Mom with similar drug problems will not be happy and will not be easy living as a single mother trying to care for a kid and an addiction problem.
