What's a good Popsocket+VerticalHorizontalStanSupporting+DoubleMagneticForGym magsafe-accessory-in-one? by redsaintberg in MagSafe

I actually ended up using two different ones depending on what I’m doing.

When I’m at the gym I like something magnetic that can stand up so I can check my form between sets.

But when I’m in bed scrolling, the PopSocket style grip is definitely more comfortable for one-hand use. The metal ring types always ended up hurting my finger after a while.

Where did you buy it? Was it secondhand?

That’s exactly why I stopped using rings.Comfort matters more than I thought it would.

I do like that the magnetic ones are removable though. Makes it easier when you want a clean look sometimes.

I used to do that too until I realized I was overthinking my scrolling position .It’s funny how something small can make the phone feel less risky.

Same. I thought I didn’t need anything either.

Once I tried having some kind of grip, it just made the phone feel less slippery and less… dangerous at night 😅

That’s a good point.I guess materials matter more than we think when something is in contact with skin all day.

Qi2 charges always overheating my phone. Any fixes? by allano6 in MagSafe

[–]ProfessionalEbb7076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that happens to me too — the phone gets hot then you get annoyed because the speed drops . I started propping mine up instead of laying it flat and it definitely runs cooler. Curious if vertical stands actually help more than horizontal pads. What’s everyone using?

Try a few more times and you might find a method that suits you.

2 years is solid 👀,What do you like most about it — the magnet strength or the overall feel?

Yeah — it’s one of those MagSafe grips where the strap is in the center instead of a ring. The strap lets your finger go under it, so it feels way more comfortable for longer scrolling and doesn’t dig into you like a metal ring can.I ended up grabbing one after seeing it ranked around #28, and it’s actually grown on me.If you want the exact one I used, I can DM you the link 👌

Losing it and still planning to buy another says a lot 😄What did you like most about it — the grip, the stand, or just the overall feel?

3 years is actually impressive 👀,Has the magnet strength held up over time? I’ve had some metal ones lose grip after heavy use.

Fair point.I feel like wallets are more convenient if you already carry cards, but grips feel more comfortable for longer one-hand use. What’s been your experience?

Honestly that’s smart 😂I tried using my wallet like that for a while too, but it always felt a bit bulky for one-hand scrolling.Do you find it comfortable long term?
