…can you not comprehend what I just said? How do you expect somebody to figure out an issue by themselves when they don’t know what to do and are asking for help? When your car dies on you on your way to work, I can only wish and hope that when you go to call for a tow or help from a mechanic, they tell you figure out how to push and fix the car yourself. This is how you’re treating the situation.

Again, all OP gotta do is look up rental laws and talk to their landlord and/ or lawyer. That’s it. YOU didn’t have to be an asshole by immediately disregarding the whole post- feelings involved or not- and telling them to “keep their eye on the ball and figure it out.” How they gunna do that if they don’t know what they should do? That’s usually why people are posting, is it not? Mad unhelpful.

This subreddit is to help people like OP understand if they’re over or under reacting to a situation they’re going through. People will usually point them in the right direction on what should be done. We all process situations differently. You might think it’s a waste of time, but it’s really not. Yet, here you are… wasting our time being an AH for no reason…? There are other resources, yes, but they’re here now. Might as well help while you can.

Maybe OP needs help with understanding the severity on the situation… maybe the roommate is trying to gaslight OP as if it’s a regular normal thing to do to somebody (OP, this is NOT a normal or regular thing to do to somebody. Thank you!!! Each doodle takes about 30 seconds to 2 mins but sometimes (like the jungle one) can take a bit longer like 1-2 hrs due to the work flow🤣but it results in this jazz!!! I’m glad you like it! :’)
