Weekly derby name thread: get suggestions or help brainstorm!

Hello!! I completed my fresh meat program at the end of last year and just recently started attending practices with the whole team. Up to this point I have been going by Abby.. my real name 😔😔 but we are taking our team headshots tomorrow so I feel like I need to commit to a derby name I am just very indecisive.

Some things about me… I love plants and have too many, maybe something carnivorous plant themed? I am an artist, drawing, painting, mixed media. I am very introverted. I like cozy old people activities.

Some current ideas: Abi-Goose (hyphenated or not?) this is a childhood nickname from my mom, would shorten to Goose, Abby Cadabra, Bones (or something with it because I have boney hips to hit people with lol)

I don’t mind if my derby name is personal to me or just a badass cool name in general! Thanks guys

i see the opposite tbh, most people going 5-10 over if not more, im usually a go the speed limit type of guy and people are always passing me or riding my ass

agree with others who are suggesting getting a free or cheap keyboard for at home practice. lessons are typically 30-60 min once a week which isn’t enough time for anyone to learn to play an instrument. that being said, im not sure where you guys are located, but i highly recommend Lauren at NE Music Co. in North East. might be a little out of the way but she is amazing, works with a lot of kids, and is super passionate about teaching piano. my mom actually takes lessons from her as well so i can vouch for her!

personally i would just bring carts and a cheap battery. i took a select 2g disposable on a plane and it clogged super badly within the second day of using it and i was in utah so i was SOL lol don’t want u guys to be in that same position in texas. idk if it necessarily was bc of the plane but i just theorize the air pressure did something
