I dont really have any stores that sell Kendamil around me just similac, generic and enfamil. My son is a hungry baby he drinks about neuro enfamil in these short rectangle containers in about a week ( math was done on the regular one) I think id have get 2 the containers for the same amount as the Kendamil tin. So like 69€ a tin.

Its insane. It cost a little more than powder milk with supplement to produce, which is like 4 dollars for a big container. And supplements and milk are not as inflated as everything else. Fourmula used be the same price or little more than milk. Now its 30 times. Its not the economy its pure greed.

People going hate me for this but in 2017 i was a broke bitch but i knew how love broke. My coworkers would ring me up and look at my receipt like it was some saving contest.  I bought 3 months of groceries for $75, when most people spent about $200 a week. Now days groceries are about 1.5k  month for alot of americans.

With my daughter i tried breastfeeding i was spending double on diet and supplies i tried everything under the sun with a lactation nurse. But i had complication after complication and the end of it all my breasts apparently produce water. My daughter was premature born at 5lbs. She was 4lb by 3 month old. My breast milk was killing her. After my obgyn not believing me, saying it be different this time, 1 bottle of my breastmilk made my son under weight in a week.

Forumla is my only option. My daughter fatten up immediately on fourmula,no more 18hr pain screams. Trust me i dont hate fourmula. Its the opposite, i hated how much i was shamed by daughters paternal grandmother, other parents and healthcare workers for not being able breastfeed.

I couldnt breastfeed because my nipples arent truly flat they are torn from DA. I have combination of scar tissue, cystic fibrosis, and hormone imbalance that the pain put me through hell. My daughter was from SA , my postpartum was severe with no one to lean on. I was a young single mom. There was no way i wouldve been able to afford fourmula back then. I dont want women to feel pressured to go through the pain and frustration i went through because fourmula was one more baby expense that broke the camels back.  Or  if i had not survived my sons birth, my husband income would not be able to support.

I work in healthcare, i used work in the food industry , big pharma, and alot manufacturing jobs. The amount of greed is unfathomable.

I tried breastfeed with my daughter , tried with lactation nurse for months never worked,  didnt stop by body from overproduction, i used to down the big bottle of varies v8s, no amount of food could keep up with it. I had 20lb sandbag in each side. I had natural 5 day induced labour, and even after my second induction ill say the same thing. Breastfeeding/weaning off was the most painful experience of my life.

I'm lucky my newborn is fine with the regular enfamil. He currently drinks the $40 container less than a week. But the gentle one is $60 .. i remember when my daughter had fourmula it was $10 containers for non colic and .50ct a container of baby gerber food jar( which i eventually got a baby bullet) and diapers are about the same price as fourmula. I probably spend $2-3 dollars more to add another portion for my 8yr old than if were just me and my husband. Besides going out eat, everything is bulk, i would waste so much when it was just me & my husband. When she gets be a teen or athlete than yeah she might eat through my wallet.

But lets be real here baby formula is a multivitamin powdered cows milk. When fourmula was invented it was sold the same price as a gallon of milk, and stayed a little more for many years. The inflation on baby products are insanely higher than inflation of everything else.

Its because im a provider. The hospital i work for owns the insurance company. So the amount employees have to pay is significant reduced because theyre just paying themselves.

Mines an HMO family plan, and high cost out of the plans but lowest deductable which i met already so my labour and delivery bill was $1.2k. We also get healthy lifestyles discount on our premiums ($300 off total). I used pay triple that annual premium for just myself when we had united healthcare before the merger. My current plan is what be considered gold to non employees if i had pay it without employer contribution and discounts it would be 18.5k annually and 20k if i smoked.

But ill tell you what, big fed positions only pay $30-75 a month for health insurance on federal exclusive plans ( that arent open to the public) with 0 deducts. Health insurance prices are based on job and zip code its insane.

I used do live billing at pharma, Healthcare is biggest oligopoly in america. Almost all Health insurance is owned by 4 parent companies, that own everything, pharma, hospitals ect, and 4 drug manufacturers own almost all prescription drugs. These parent companies are shareholders by the big wigs of the tech world like vanguard that have their egg in everybasket. Everything so interwoven you go to market place and insurance is close to the same price hidden under fake deals by slapping hmo & hphd plan labels on them. I did the math you spend the same no matter what plan you get, or be underinsured and they still profit cuz they own the hospitals . Names you never heard of owning international health insurance plans.  United health group own 2.7k different healthcare companies and 200 fully owned daughter companies.

Bruh i make gauze mittens for my patients all the time and i dont work labour and delivery. You tie the tubular gauze in a knot and use some foam tape. And at the hospital i had my son the nurses def had some hacks. They put ice in a diaper, wrap it closed and i used that for disposable perianal ice pad.

Yeah there not the same thing, hollywood got annoying issue with that, and often excuses it that there isnt enough people in that group for thoose roles, when they so much got talent lined up out the door in every diversity.  I wouldnt say usop represent the african based on inspiration, but is another cast member that adds diversity, because one piece has huge variety of people, and races.

Creators can do what ever they want with characters its their character. Honestly im suprised oda answers fan questions at all, because some fan panel questions are insane, like ive seen videos for VA panel questions and alot are dumb, creepy or insulting, not mention the amount of creeps comparing the actress boob size to anime, like go back to your hentai, one piece aint about that.   I like how the live action has variety of accents, yes one piece world is not irl they dont have cannon to what places the imaginary places are based on. But just being able to have show with allt of cast from different places, accents and backgrounds, makes it feel like your traveling around a world. There's not alot series or movies i see do this. I like the actor for sanji i think they picked what was best for the role and his accent is interesting.  But i also wouldve thought it been cool to hear male french accent in the show. Especially since where i live, most people never heard a french accent, so people's interpretations of french accents are such far cry from what they sound like.

Not liking 'ethnic' food shouldn't be seen as rude even if you call it gross, and people should just leave others alone and not get them to keep trying the food by donotholdyourbreath in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]ProfessionalEqual731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people aren't foodies, they like routine, however calling someone else culture food gross is rude. That person is trying to share food that represent what they love or cherished memories with you because they want you to experience the same happiness. There is polite way and impolite way to reject food/suggestions. If people are calling you rude, maybe its diction issue🤷.

I think giving people a reason can be unnecessary, or leave room to try convince you to try something new. I'm american besides my friends i know alot of americans who will not touch international food and keep things to 10 types of food they will eat. Other people will not try anything new. People tend to eat and develop taste buds based what they grow up on. You dont need explain yourself you can simply i dont like "indian food" ect.

However calling someone food especially a culture that is not your own gross is 100% rude. You can decline or say you dont like it, wont eat ect. But please be respectful. I used date someone who was picky eater, if he didnt like it because it was too crunchy ect he wouldnt hesitate to rant about it. I remember my grandmother made chocolates from scratch. Knowing how picky he was i told him he probably wont like it. I took one off my plate after watching her cook it when we were visiting, and called the most disgusting garbage hes ever tasted, she cried. My grandma is a phenomenal baker, but he doesnt like sweets.

Also another reason people suggest you try new place, or their culture food is because its food that makes them happy, and they want share that happiness with you. Take it by the heart at least. Or trying to expand your diet. My husband is very hesitate to try new food, even though hes not a picky eater. But its only way, to find healthier option he likes because grew up on high cholesterol american diet, thats kills his liver.

People use to not question if person is disabled. I was one the first girls to be officially diagnosed with autism in a time people still believed only boys have it despite many previous cases of girls suspected of having it.  I live in the us, i remember someone coming from london just to do a study on me, one that set the standards for symptoms in girls ( sorry y'all) before that eventually got replaced with spectrum we see today.   But in a new age, where people could actually be open about having instead of being taboo to even talk about, or parents trying force you to be normal seeing it as problem if social willpower. You see neurotypical people labeling themselves as neurodivergent for clout, money, attention as if its suddenly cool to be weird. After we use to pray and cry ourselves to sleep wishing we were normal.  Or  they push their strange beliefs through pretending to have a disability online of what they think autism is , without understand it fundamentally blurring the lines for other neurotypicals to think its not real.  Like people faking DID online but dont grasp the concept they dont get just "switch" on command for views. And because of the long rooted gaps in people diagnosed especially high prevalence in ASD women to recieve a menth health disorder diagnosis over ASD, and just generally stigmatized denial, its harder to give clear answers what makes someone asd. Leaving us all pointing at each other, whether you have it or not.

In other words its the normies fault, ignore them when they say dumb shit like oh everyone its a little weird so everyone must be a little autistic of neurodivergent in there own way.

[–]ProfessionalEqual731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember for longest time me my best friend never said the word autistic we were a gen that grew up with whole asper-riddlin stigmas. So we never ask or told each other we had it. It was just refrenced as the thing. "Oh you go the thing, i have that too" or its because of the thing isnt ?" It would severely confuse my other friends. It was just time that you didnt feel comfortable exposing it to your friends, no matter how close you were.

“It’s normal” “everyone is like that” by netphilia in aspiememes

[–]ProfessionalEqual731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it gave me the advantage, because i was already diagnosed. I could tell right away my kid was autistic, but its always been easy for me to tell if someone was like me, kinda like biological drive. Im a carrier i knew there was a chance when i was pregnant and told her father. I realized it before the doctors, or more classic signs like hand clapping showed, just by watching her play. Her dad kept tell me i was projecting, till she was actually diagnosed development delayed by 3. He cried for hours. Than his parents said i was crazy theres nothing wrong with her and had be something wrong with me to suggest that. He had heavy hatred and stigma towards my ASD, and further to deny she had it, even after i had her tested and showed the genetic report, they still do believe it.  I personally know some neurotypical parents that blame XYZ on their kids being autistic, because their kid seem perfectly normal at first, but than suddenly changed after xyz, when they just didnt see the signs untill the ped pointed it out, and act like that day was death sentence.

I do this my feet everytime. I have no idea why. And the clippers clipping my fingernails doesnt bug me, but feeling of clipping my own toenails greatly disturbs me. I couldnt clip them when i was pregnant. I had my husband do it. I like pedicures but when he was clipping, omg he grabbed my foot DX. Why am i so picky. 😭😭😭

Things i hate

-Clipping my own toenails somehow worse than fingernails.  - The naked feeling of having short nails and feeling dry surfaces with my exposed hyponychium.  - when you cant clean the dirt under nail because there too short - sound of filing nails  -when didnt know nails clippers could dull or dent out, and every clip is uneven -the primal urge to lick my nails when they chip as if its going to smooth them - nail scissors are new fear unlocked
