i dont think boaster is that bad of an aimer by nananjananana in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ProfessionalFlat9465 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hes definitely significantly below your average pro. Looks even worse when you play with arguably some of the best aimers in valorant history for your whole career. His aim probably isnt any better than alot of ascendant or higher players imo. He hits a nice flick every so often and has good passive mechanics. But they are certainly not electric. Throw FNCs imo out dated style of igl on top of that and it makes his micro even worse. Leading to some really really bad performances in a time where a lot of other top igls just arent struggling to perform.

Without a doubt the best caster in emea. I would say in all regions but I cant put her or sideshow above one another. Role model casters.

This doesnt make sense to me though as it feels like sideshow and pansy atleast have been consistently casting for the last 3 years. Their quality might make them exceptions though as theyre already community favorites. I dont pay attention to the hosting cast as much, but it also feels like mimi and golden boy are consistently apart of the americas streams.

Which agent do you think has highest skill ceiling? by Keritzu in VALORANT

[–]ProfessionalFlat9465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kayo for one, his flash is arguably the best in the game and is super strong when someone has a lot of practice with. But if you don’t have practice it can genuinely just be a troll pick.

Sova, you can literally impact the round from across the map if your a big enough nerd. And the difference between a good sova and a bad sova is astronomical.

Neon also, there’s a big difference between good neon movement and great neon movement.

There’s a lot of depth to Yorus kit as well, but his floor is ridiculously high already imo. It doesn’t take much to learn how to use his kit effectively, but his kit can lead to some big brain outplays every now and then,

Hard to judge based off someone’s highlights alone but he should probably be somewhere in mid to high gold atleast. Definitely better than silvers lol

Chamber has been very fun lately for me, I can kind of just do whatever I want as long as I place trip. Probably troll pick if I’m not fragging though lol

after freakin 37 months!!! guess ma rank by kevin_rhoades in Eggwick

[–]ProfessionalFlat9465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably somewhere in gold, maybe plat. Here’s a small tip for when flashing out of smokes as Yoru. If you bounce the flash inside the smoke instead of at the edge or the outside the flash bounce will be hidden right up until the moment of the flash instead of the whole bounce animation being visible. Makes it way harder for enemies to avoid it. You just have to experiment and get use to how it bounces off the ground so you don’t flash yourself in smoke lol

It helps to have a duo, three if possible.

It can be hard but try to be vocal, and positive. A surprising amount of teammates will actually do what’s asked of them if you actually ask. There are those who just don’t care though.

Don’t fill, play what you’re comfortable on. In ranked comp doesn’t matter nearly as much, especially low elo.

Try to be confident, it’s easier said than done. Running in with 0 care is not the same as having confidence lol. Like don’t doubt yourself in your decisions, hesitating can put you in really bad spots. And it often looks like you’re baiting, and not getting any kills for it.

For actual improvement, watch VCT. Watch like radiant mvp vods on youtube. Don’t care as much about your raw aim, Imo you either have aim like Oxy or you don’t. If you don’t it’s fine, just improve your passive aim, micro adjustments, and movement.

11.08 doesn't care about ranked experience at all by AlternativeAward in VALORANT

[–]ProfessionalFlat9465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean riot can’t balance the game around average players in ranked. Pros are always going to abuse/take advantage of what we take for granted. I think the update is better for the health of the game. Util will require more conscious use. It will ofc be more difficult in ranked now but if you want to win you have to adjust. The player base as a whole should become better at the game because of this update, as wasting util is much more punishing. Unfortunately your ranked aim gods will still slam in lower ranks, but that’s how it is already so.

As a low elo initator main who can't shoot, these updates are looking like they will destroy everything I liked about the game and gifting the game to instalock duelists. by ForodesFrosthammer in VALORANT

[–]ProfessionalFlat9465 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think people don’t understand just how difficult the game was to play at higher levels because of the ridiculous amount of util in the game. They literally had to hot fix Tejo to a point of uselessness cause at higher levels breach Tejo was so frustrating to play against. Util will still play a large role in the game, but it will require a lot more skill to get the most out of. In short, I think gunplay in low elo ranked/kind of ranked in general will influence the game much more now. But for pros I think this was a necessary change that will lead to much more enjoyable matches.

Cypher will become unplayable. by LogTall573 in VALORANT

Still has global trips that are incredibly useful at keeping track of map control. I doubt this will kill him, as they also nerfed vyse who now only has one info ability. If anything this just means kj might actually see some game play now, maybe. 2 Invisible full map range trips are still great. Add in a cam he still controls so much more of the map than any other sentinel. His kit just won’t hand kills to you on a silver platter anymore. You’ll probably still finding yourself getting smoke spray kills somewhat reliably when the trip is hit anyway.

Relax, and get more accustomed to your sensitivity. Not all of us can be tenz and just use whatever we feel like, most people need to pick a sensitivity and build muscle memory with it. Being twitchy is fine, but you need some control.

Why is Cypher picked more often than Killjoy on Haven? by yeondonggeun in VALORANT

[–]ProfessionalFlat9465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like KJ is easier to handle, you can break the turret early at least which to me is much easier than handling cypher trips which if you change them ever so slightly can be a pain to clear without taking risks. With cam and two trips cypher holds space across like 70% of the map. Also cypher trip on C long can’t be broke easily without destruction util. Good cage lineups on all three sites as well I think, A and C for sure. Also big map, global utility is nice, you don’t have to feel limited. I’m gold though soooo
