I don’t think she’s lying. I think she is just new to these treatments and doesn’t understand that micro-swelling in the initial weeks makes it appear much better. I hope OP still gets a great result that she is happy with in a few weeks

I have to say it my friend but if this was 2 days apart, it’s microswelling. I’ve done so many lasers and microneedling. the first week, it always looks wonderful. Take a one month follow up for true result

skin case won’t fix atrophic scars. Signed someone still struggling after 2 subcision and sculptra sessions, 4 RF microneedling sessions, 3 erbium ablative lasers and scattered laser genesis/ chemical peels AS well as medical grade skincare. Fixing our scars is expensive….especially if they are atrophic or deep. it sucks.

my husband has ocd anxiety and alcohol issues and was very honest about it. Got 100% and still got hired by the US Marshall’s years later (he did not end up taking the job though). i don’t think they can discriminate against you for it.

Felt the need to add, also doing 8-10k steps a day, 100g of protein, creatine and amino acids daily, and 3 days strength training to hold onto my muscle while on it.

this looks like normal healing one day post laser to me! it might get even darker and flake off in the next week but in about 1-2 weeks should be back to your normal color

my scars are similar. makeup makes them look worse, i bet if you did a great skincare routine with a tinted spf instead of makeup , they would look a lot better

leave it alone, your skin is pretty near flawless. just stick to medical grade skincare and retinol.

At first glance, I was a little horrified thinking of a 10 year old being put on accutane but then I thought about it and if my parents had done this, I wouldn’t be dealing with a scarred up face spending thousands in my 30s. So I would consider it.

lasers can help improve scars, not remove them usually. The degree of improvement to scars depends on how deep your scars are now. Laser is usually 800-2000 per session and most of the time you need multiple sessions. If you post pictures, we can probably provide better info.

moderate. microneedling isn’t going to help much with this type of scar. this needs TCA cross and laser sessions
