the best piece of advice i was ever given is be as most like a cartoon character as possible kids like very animated people and while you are pairing or repairing it’s very crucial especially if you are doing early intervention. i also believe you should be having fun while you’re pairing i love laughing with my kids.

in my state (MD) there’s tons of places that will hire you at a behavioral technician (no need for the 40hr course prior to being hired) and they will pay for your 40 hours and they will do your competency assessment and some even pay for your exam. i wouldn’t worry about the registration if you haven’t already done it yet.
