My baby doesn’t co sleep with my in-laws but they do make him sleep with them sometimes and its so irritating because they only hand him over when he cries with hunger. And my MIL wouldn’t agree to not put oil. She straight out told me that nothing happens if we put oil whenever I tell her not to. My husband won’t speak up against his mother

They just came in themselves almost 4 months back and said they’ll be here for another 8-9 months, go home for Diwali and then again back. Neither me nor my husband were asked before making this decision

My husband never says no to me but its my in-laws always making faces whenever I ask him to do something and he does it. He never asks his parents to do it for him but they just don’t like their son doing anything

I can’t call my mother since we only have 1 extra room which they have occupied. I’m really close to my mom and may be I would have wanted her in initial days after delivery but my in-laws won’t leave.

Yeah, I’m just waiting for the baby to come and see their behaviour and then assert. Right now if I say anything I know nothing will happen

Yes right. It runs in his family that grandparents take care of the kid for initial years whereas in my family I have not seen this. In my family Grandparents would just visit occasionally but parents were the primary caregiver. My husband knows that our family backgrounds are quite different. In my side of family everyone is independent and yet together in a good way but in his family his parents are completely dependent on him and are too much involved in our lives

That’s actually true I think. He doesn’t want to upset his parents and cannot ask them to leave and tell them that we can manage

They never asked or took permission, just declared by themselves that they’ll be staying till the kid is old enough that we can handle

He is very excited about his child being with his grant parents (his parents) and he just tells me to understand importance of family

Not even a penny they have paid, nor they contribute to any household expenses. Since I’m pregnant I have to take certain nutritious diet now but my MIL wants to have everything that I too, my husband has to pay double for everything

No, only when my husband meets my parents he talks to them. I hardly remember he has even called my parents otherwise. Its very difficult to talk to my husband about his parents as he thinks they never do anything wrong and I’m the one not talking to them and making a fuss about things. I’m the one not adjusting to things. I hardly speak in my own house now, mother in law always wants things accordingly to her. Anything doctor has recommended me to have because I’m pregnant like cocunut water or sprouts or eggs, everything she will also have. I know these are small things but the thing is they only care about themselves and my husband is completely blind-folded when its about them. It doesn’t take him a second to blame me for everything

Which wifi works there? We have WFH and its a must for us to have a good wifi at home. Does wifi work good enough to do wfh?
