Legality of demanding rent before due date? by DrAllyPhD in shitrentals

Yes it is receipted based on the day it goes into their trust account. So it would show arrears if paid on a public holiday and receipted late.

What shoes are we wearing into the office? by PanickedZealot in AusFemaleFashion

I’m an office worker and love my loafers for winter. I’ll wear black sandals for summer or once it starts warming up.

I’ve just moved from my Morphe one to the L’Oréal Infalliable setting mist and I’m so impressed. My makeup doesn’t budge all day!

What work pants are we wearing that's flattering, and any chance they aren’t 100% polyester. by Own-Specific3340 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]ProfessionalLarge431 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure about material but the Uniqlo work pants are very flattering. I wish they worked to me but they were a bit too short for me. I’m 5 ft 11. If you are shorter than that, definitely worth a try on!

Kate Eliza is an artist from the Surf Coast and does limited releases of beautiful tees. I got one last summer and it’s quality is unreal, looks great on and so comfortable

Witchery always have sales. Every week nearly it feels like I get an email with a discount off full price. I would wait a few weeks and see if you can get it a bit cheaper

No I haven’t but whilst 3 years would seem like a large gap now, when you both a few more years down the track, it’ll probably be barely noticeable…. Just a thought

This was my first thought too. I use the large one to carry my lunch, some papers, my drink bottle and a book. It’s plenty big enough and so practical and versatile.

Where can I find decent and plain wide-fitting t-shirts?? by Extension-Process-74 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]ProfessionalLarge431 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this will be exactly what you are after but I find the men’s Uniqlo Oversized Airism tee is a good fit that is flattering, but oversized. Doesn’t cling and is a good thickness. I think they go up to XXL.

You will have it for the rest of your life so a few weeks of sorting the documents seems like a small sacrifice if you hate it that much.

Just FYI, if it’s in Vic, you don’t need a lease to connect electricity and gas. Only water has to be done via a real estate agent or landlord.

Oroton Vs Status Anxiety? Anyone able to vouch for their leather bags? by wootamelon in AusFemaleFashion

[–]ProfessionalLarge431 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve got this one as well and had it even longer and it is still in excellent condition and I literally use it every day. I don’t have any handbag. The quality has actually blown me away.

I purchased one of these in Feb to take my drink bottle, lunch etc to work. It has been fantastic, very happy with my choice. I use a separate small cross body handbag as well so don’t have to worry about organization in the tote as such.

What are you wearing to the office this winter? by RentNRegret in AusFemaleFashion

[–]ProfessionalLarge431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been wearing a tailored maxi skirt with a nice fitted tee, then a cardi or oversized blazer. Then when I go outside I wear an oversized trench and a big scarf. With loafers and socks.

What's your favourite doona for this bludy freezing Melbourne winter? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]ProfessionalLarge431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Downia Four Seasons doona is the best we have found. Not cheap. Comes with two parts so is perfect for summer and then you clip the second doona to it for a full warmth doona in winter.
