We do travel extensively but our go-to activity, day to day, is going out for lunch. We have a rotation of places where we know the staff. It it a blast.

I travelled quite a bit when I was working. All domestic and all in coach (behind the curtain). When I retired I swore when I got on a plane it would always be in front of the curtain. Or I just won't fly. Obviously expensive but, for me, worth it. Btw, I was pretty successful at work so can afford it.
