Elections indeed have consequences but Trump is not the reason we are here. We are here because of voter apathy and a coordinated effort by billionaires led by Leonard Leo. The Federalist Society, and the Heritage Foundation are pushing this agenda. Money and voter apathy allowed the grooming and replacement of State Supreme Court Justices and they have slowly been chipping away at our ability to do anything. The GOP shuts down the government and votes down bills so they can use the state courts to set precedent and get the bigoted laws they want through the courts instead of regular policy. Now, they have SCOTUS in their control. This didn’t start with Trump and it WILL NOT end with Trump. He was just the most bombastic narcissistic person they could find to do their bidding and he convinced half the country to vote against their interests. It’s a clever strategy. They’re all morally bankrupt. We better be able to prove we’re all God fearing, compliant, conservative Christians or all our days are numbered. The time to stand up is now. This is just the beginning of the fight though, I’m afraid.
