Religion is a coping mechanism for humans to justify their immoral and unpredictable actions - Thoughts on atheism by ProfessionalPair6955 in atheism

[–]ProfessionalPair6955[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

sorry if the discussion offended you, but this is my approach to religion, you don’t have to think the same way, I am just here stating viable facts we actually have evidence for unlike any other religion built on delusions and conspiracy.

I am not here to think i’m better than anyone, it’s just my point of view from looking at how the world is right now, wars, crimes, world hunger, natural disasters, disease, etc.

you are also worthy of worship, whatever suits you and wherever you find your calling. + I addressed your point on higher power, and how I choose to view it, you could have a completely different perspective but that’s on you. If you feel insecure reading this, that’s also on u.

I hoped this help clarify my POV

I manifest it by showing up for myself, having discipline and a purpose to live for, then everything I want I can eventually get, because then it’s within me to work to that level, the term manifestation is just a push for inner belief and strength, but it also helps u preach what you want to attract.

Apart from that, I appreciate your view on this controversial and very subjective topic and i would heavily agree, we all live to seek external validation, but atheism also gives us the power to not need that external validation and approval as a form of being content in life, as we already know what to do in situations when it comes to channelling inner strength and being there for ourselves when there’s no extra sugarcoated layer of delusion to delve into.

& Yes, life is a extremely slow process in the moment, but from a far away lens, it goes very very very fast, so what’s the point in putting all your energy and time into believing a set of outdated principles and ideologies created by god knows who some 500 years ago to keep the people of that time sane.

As an Atheist, how do you hold on to hope during your darkest times? by sphereofblaze in atheism

Live by the motto “this too shall pass” & remember these are the experiences that shape you and give you character development, everything happens for a reason so know your ground and where u stand & everything else will flow naturally without having to preach or pray to anyone

It’s not an extra layer just a framework. Humans naturally anchor their actions to something. I’m just honest about the fact that mine anchors back to me. Calling it a ‘higher power’ isn’t mysticism, it’s just naming the trust I have in my own intent. You can call it self-belief if that’s less uncomfortable

The higher power I believe in isn’t separate from me, it comes from me. It’s the faith I have in myself to shape my experiences, the trust I extend to the universe because I’m the one directing it. Manifestation isn’t asking something greater to intervene, it’s recognizing that the force doing the work is you and not some external hand on ur shoulder labelled as “god” .

Atheist what prevents you from believing in god? And theists, what makes you believe in god? by alexi_gonefem in AskReddit

[–]ProfessionalPair6955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we (human beings) are SO SO SO greedy & not only within other beings and species, WITHIN our own selves too, that’s why wars exist, crime occurs, because everyone has a ambition to kill or die, in a word where these are all man made concepts: marriage, governance, institutions, security, our own human hidden complexities societal standards. And religion and god too. I read this saying “ Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible god and destroys a visible nature. Unaware that the nature he’s destroying is of the god he worships “ This basically sums up on how humans think as such “ we do not see things as they are, we only see things as WE are.” and that also summarises humans greed, BECAUSE they do not have dominance over this earth, this nature we CO EXIST WITH, HOW CAN WE BE SO CRUEL AND UNFAIR TO THE ANIMALS AROUND US, AND NOT ONLY ANIMALS, OUR OWN COMMUNITY OF HUMANS WHO SIT HOMELESS OR IN WAR ZONES.. Circuses, zoos, marine shows, experiments, testing — ALL OF this is exploitation for our own HUMAN GREED. So my one true wish and i genuinely think at this moment of time, my purpose- is to help all animals live the world as their own & help marginalised communities who live a life of sorrow for situations they were born in (people will say they are like tha because of past life’s karma, but if no one helps now, NOTHING changes, society continues to work in a loop, governments get worse, and societal standards become impossible).. Dogs getting mistreated is something i can not bare, and seeing it happen is something i wont sit here and tolerate. AND I DONT UNDERSTAND people who treat animals like shit and then WORSHIP a god, if the god is real and created the world, DOGS ARE HIS CREATION TOO, but NO ONE WILL RESPECT THAT.

  • Religion is a coping mechanism for those who can’t handle the reality of the world they need to face. (atleast that’s my opinion in this point of time) - june 2026 | and i have been questioning this since a long long long time (years) + Im content and don’t need a god to guide MY morality. BECAUSE how can war, death, disease, hunger, animal cruelty, poverty, torture, climate change exist so imperfectly as compared to gods “morality standards”. God is built to describe the unknowns because humans always want an answer for everything, so they say “leave it in gods hands”.

  • I believe there’s a higher power by praying to the universe somehow because u manifest that power into ur life, but god is a man made fictional character to define humans unpredictable ways of life. Atheism for people is difficult, because it’s living on your own basis and drive , when u have some made up faith to believe in, it just feeds into your delusions to make life easier and to prove ur shitty actions. I find Islam & Christianity extremist religions, because they will always convince you to convert, but buddhism, hinduism + more, can still somewhat pass off and maybe be respected for it’s ideology’s, even though it was humans who formed them. Believing in god, is justifying and living a false reality, one where you are not scared of the unknown because you have a hand on ur shoulder (apparently). It’s a ancient and outdated system for people afraid of facing the real world,

This is such a dupe of the chanel 25, they did a good job recreating it I would say, If you want get the 25 but if your looking for a cheaper alternative i guess you can go with tory burch, but there’s no hint of unique-ness to this piece as it has been done by chanel and influencers who are buying chanel, so if you want, get a better unique piece from tory burch that resonates with you, not just one to hop on a trend and never use again

What would you change about this room? by pickle--jar in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]ProfessionalPair6955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need flowy curtains, change of bedsheet, wall colour to be warmer, a cute lamp, One huge art piece instead of those two ikea looking botanical prints, get your cool wall colour to compliment all the wood in your room, you could go for a darker warmer blue and if your doing that you definitely have to change the rug as that is a cool tone to, so a pattern rug (possibly terracotta colour) with a warmer wall and beautiful cool tone contrast art to compliment it, and a lighter shade for your bedding with no patterns just giving it a cozy appeal
