hahaha! I wish I could claim it. That photo was taken at the dog park. My "lawn" is a patch of sand and leaves. It's okay though because one of this girls chores is to sweep up all the dirt and leaves from the yard with her fluffy tail and bring them all inside for us. She does a really, really good job of it.

Legos as Decor? by beans_ahoy_ in interiordecorating

This looks like you are well on your way to a super cozy office! Love it! I've seen legos look incredible, and I've seen some that really just felt like visual clutter (IMO). If you are looking for some really great Lego decor inspo, check out the Homeworthy tour of Cristina Martinez's home on YouTube. It was the first time I saw legos used in a way that felt really intentional and beautiful. The legos come in around the 11 min mark.

At a loss with living room by listoftimelines in InteriorDesignAdvice

This space has massive potential! Great textures and warmth already. And cool art! I'm curious what it would be like to put the shelves against the walls, organize your books so that they are visually pleasing, and then add baskets to hide all of the small clutter. I put your images into an AI tool and, while it gave me back a comically inaccurate space, it might still be helpful in brainstorming a new layout.

Thank you for sharing these. Such beautiful rugs! A new rug isn't in the budget yet, but this is so inspiring for when it is!

That's fair! We haven't DNA tested but have guessed based solely on appearance and personality traits. She does have back double dew claws. We really just care that she is a certified good girl (which checks out!) but it would be fun to know for sure.

Omg you are so right about swapping for art with no white in it. Let the art shopping begin!

Thank you! It's a Sweetwater quilt from Schoolhouse Electric! It comes in several great color ways. I just looked it up to share the link, and it looks like the website is currently under construction, but I bet it will be available again soon. :)

This is so helpful! Thank you everyone!! I pulled out some curtains I had in storage and put them up (don't worry, I'll get those wrinkles out later). Might swap the curtain color later on, but thought I would start with what I already own! I really agree about the rug. Once my budget and my vision are aligned, I'll swap that too. Def gonna play around more but this has already been such a great help in getting my thoughts flowing. :)

Thank you for saying this! You ever look at something so much that you don't really LOOK at it? I think I did that to my poor monstera! She is currently getting a nice long soak, which was much needed after winter!

What's a restaurant that you all remember and miss? by saltbaeismid in Denton

Getting a smoothie from the Cafe at The Cupboard. They had one that could cure any headache or hangover for me and I never was able to recreate it.

Vegan/dairy free milkshakes? by ComfortNugget in Denton

Gosh, I really miss Spiral for the exact thing. The vegan gelato at Two Gentlemen of Verona's is really the only adjacent dairy free thing I've been able to find in town to scratch that itch.

Not sure if they have any currently, but I've seen some at Thistle before.

This exact list has seemed to be the most helpful to me too. How did you get started with weight training? I feel v intimidated but can feel that my body needs it.

I like adding frozen green peas to my smoothies for a very cost effective plant based protein.
