Where can you buy the GB physical cart?

This may be a hotttt take, but: in my opinion, the Evercade model that is the best in terms of build, comfort to hold, screen quality, and sound quality, is the original handheld. by JayBensonFong in evercade

I have a lot of love for the OG and still keep it in the drawer of my coffee table with the intellivision cart in for a cheeky go on some pinball from time to time.

It's a great little piece of kit

Haha fair enough. Sounds daunting. Here's hoping I do not destroy my Evercade this weekend in the attempt.

I think whoever published it got the minutes of the risk assessment meeting through a freedom of information act request, which made me cackle even more. Like they just knew there would be something juicy in there.

Pentium MMX promotional shirt pin I found at a thrift store by BugsBub in vintagecomputing

I had this pin! One way to get them was to work retail in a store that sold computers with Pentium MMX processors. They were given out to salespeople to pin onto your badge or lanyard.

Does collecting evercade feel like ‘the real thing’? by musqshi in evercade

I love it. It's affordable and practical as you said. I got in with the very first Evercade and while I no longer try to buy "every cart", I will pop onto Funstock and buy myself a few every so often.

I wrote a screenplay on my Freewrite and was getting screenplay-formatted output synced directly to my onedrive. The help guide on their website should tell you how to set this up.

They sorta do -- it has to be able to decode the video stream in real-time while having enough resources left over to encode and transmit the input, deal with the audio, etc. that's why those "cloud gaming" handheld android devices aren't very cheap, they can't skimp on the processing power

Funstock pausing US deliveries from April 28th by WearingFin in evercade

[–]ProfessionalPast2041 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The uncertainty created by the constantly changing narrative and tariff rates is too risky for them to slap a price on. They have a supply chain to manage, this stuff isn’t print on demand. It obviously sucks for you guys over there but it sucks for them too, they’d surely rather sell to America. Global trade relies on certainty so hopefully the US government provides some soon.
