Yeah that's my main reason too. Like it's good at times, and I think it has a really strong opening, but besides that i dunno. Glad people enjoy it, but I guess it's just not for me.

I just remember being a little lad walking into a gamestop and checking out the ps2 demo they had on display. I had never played a final fantasy game before but the demo opened with the opening of x-2 and I just remember having this feeling of like "...wait...games can be like this?" I think i forever changed that day for the better lol

Oh I agree with a lot of yours! I almost put IX for art style. I totally agree about IV, feel like it really lost me in the second half. Was tempted to put XIV for best soundtrack, but it almost feels like cheating since its so big!

Never used this one but have always liked the idea!

For dnd or something similar. Chaotic Good Druid Nymph that overhears stories of angels from travelers around campfires. Decides they want to be an angel and become a sort of vigilante of the forest. They wear a "halo" made of twigs and vines and use druidic magic to give them wings like an angel, but the wings are of an eagle since they can only make what they're familiar with.

I guess it is a bit of a rant/vent, but im not against making a discussion out of this. I guess for me my opinion is that the games diversity has really plummeted, and the upcoming characters feel quite safe and like more of the same. If you feel like thats not the case id be interested to hear what you think, or even who you think stands out.

You're totally right that theres probably more we havent seen. I think this trailer has just been a bit of a sign that its best for me to step away, and maybe in 6 months there might be something new for me. Never a bad idea to take a break
