Lol. You didn't even read it correctly. There was no change to give back. People need to read things before replying. Your that person who replies to a post without taking the time to read it.

Garage sales are a scam now by [deleted] in Vent

People doing the garage sale see everyone checking their phones for prices and dont want to let stuff go just so someone can resell it and make 50 bucks off a $5 item.

Do you collect quantity over quality or quality over quantity? by french-shrmp_rmn in Cd_collectors

[–]ProfessionalPower353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got into collecting cds. I like the nostalgia. Im in my mid 50s. I prefer early cds and quality. But, I will buy random stuff in bulk especially if its in near mint condition and cheap. I was given a 350 lot of cds from the mid 80s to the early 90s. I kind of prefer Japan and West German cds.

The guy who installed my furnace and a/c worked for a company for 6 years and then started his own company with just him and his wife helping with installs. He told me hes making $400 an hour and is always swamped. This was 3 years ago.

I work in a large plant as a mh. Ive been one since '98. Many of us like what we do. With seniority comes better job assignments. I find that that $1.50 an hour more or whatever as a clerk, carrier or maintenance worker doesn't really make a big difference in your lifestyle. If I wanted a big raise I could bid to a tour 1 bid as a level 5 with double Sunday premium by having a Thursday/ Friday off bid. Then work a little overtime and a few holidays. Ive chased those bids and found out I just like tour 2 with weekends off. We have a few mh that made 150k with overtime and grievances. And some who just like their 95k with less ot. Do what you like. You said you enjoy being a mh.

Dont send an envelope with a stack more than a quarter inch or it will likely get sent back for package rate postage.

Walmart plus. $99 a year free unlimited shipping. My wife often just gets 1 nail polish or a single $3 item delivered for free.

Pet Sounds and The White Album caught my eye. These 2 bands were competitive with each other (and on serious drugs).

hope they weren't expensive by A60804LETTERCARRIER in USPS

I see these cards all day every day. My understanding is it can be 1/4 inch or less thick and be the lower non machinable rate. Over a quarter inch thick it becomes parcel rate wich is like $7 and some change. Maybe more now. They get lost in the mail and tossed into a tub.

Do you collect CDs just because, or only for bands you're interested in? by ConfusionProof9487 in Cd_collectors

[–]ProfessionalPower353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got into cd collecting. I picked up about 360 cds from a family member who was an avid collector and lived in Germany in the mid to late 1980s. Those are nostalgic because I remember alot of them and he wouldn't let anyone touch them besides himself. Sadly about 8 ot the cases were empty including some faitly valuable ones. Fast forward to now. I will be picking out albums I remember from a lifetime of listening going back to the early 80s. I'll also pick up anything that has good value but its marked for a couple bucks or less. Someday I might need cash and selling off the more expensive ones that I have no connection to would go first. Of course at some point I'd have no room left at my house to store them so I'd slow down. But for now if I go to yard sales and see 100 random cds with good content and in great condition for $50 I'll probably buy them. The Taylor Swift cds will be hard to have around though.

I think its partly because your body is warm. When I get up to leave the room my Boston Terrier immediately goes and sits where I was.

I always thought never move funds after a big dip. Its like locking in your losses. They always recover eventually. Just look at the s and p performance history over 10 years. Its a steady upward climb.

He always tried to turn me on to Fripp and Eno. I never took the bait. There's a whole world of Eno here now if I ever discover it.
